Do not get the stand. Place it on top of your dryer, or ironing board which will be at least a foot taller.The stand is useless unless you are 3 feet tall.

Product works great love it 100%. Had mine for just under 2 years and all of a sudden the heat cut off. Okay, these things happen in life, right? So next day I called them as there is a 2 year warranty. Tara could not be easier toward with, she asked me to cut the wire about an inch from where it is coming out and send a pic with the serial number/model number and where cord was cut. This was on a Wednesday. That evening I sent her the picture and the next day i got a shipment confirmation. Today is Sunday and the replacement already arrived. Now this is what I call exceptional Customer Service! For this alone I will look to see what other products they offer. So nice for a company to stand behind what they sell 100% of the time. Thank you.

The SF-623 is a very fragile toy & is not designed to last! I made a mistake buying this unit. For context, I have been a HAPPY Steadfast customer for 10+ years. Previously we have owned 2 of the bigger models and found each of them to be durable, each lasting more than 2-4 years with weekly usage. This SF-623 unit is smaller, looks to be similarly designed, but after using it only for the 4th time (usually we use it for 1-2 hours each time), it only lasted 30 minutes and then stopped heating up & it no longer works. I have subsequently plugged it in & although the lights come on (very pretty), the main functionality of the HEATED Metal and Steam is non-existent (yes, the cartridge does still have water in the reservoir). I tried to report this to Amazon ~60 days after my purchase, and was notified that it is beyond the time limit. This was a bad buy!!!

I am a quilter I have had one for a couple years. Used it almost daily. The one I received today has issues, cord is shorter. This iron gets very hot you can’t just put it down anywhere you need the longer cord.
No longer 22 inches in length now 18 inches in length. When pressing strips or blocks the loss of 4 inches count. But the big change, they curved the left side back and it makes it smaller in length and width. It gets hot, steam works but loss of use of area is a problem for me.

I’ve had this small steamer for about 2 months and use the heck out of it! I know some folks have complained about the small size but it’s perfect for my use. I only use it to steam press my pants and it fills that role perfectly. And the price is very acceptable!

I am an avid sewer, along with quilting and machine embroidery. This steam press makes it so much faster and easier when pressing large pieces of fabric. The steam option helps get out those annoying wrinkles. I have also used it for adding iron-on stabilizer or batting.

Very seldom use my regular steam iron. I have it set up for easy access. Although with the handle it is very easy to move when needed.

Highly recommend.
