I've used a lot of different bits (both cheap and expensive) in the past, and these are the first cobalt drill bits I've purchased. I drill a lot of mid and high carbon steel, and my cheaper HSS bits were not up to the task. I have some Dewalt HSS bits that can handle it, but I needed a metric set so started looking around at what was out there. The Bovidix bits are made in Taiwan and I have to say they far exceed my expectations. The bits cut steel very readily, and the edges remain sharp even after heavy use. I've rolled them across a granite surface plate and I can't detect any wobble at all. I'm very impressed. The steel case is very solid and well made. The plastic insert holding the drills is a solid plastic and holds the drills very snugly.
Summary: A high quality set of cobalt bits at a very attractive price.
