This Review is mainly a comparison with the M100U.
M150 Vs M100U
I have used the M150 as primary stand this year (2016). I jumped in on this one this year because of the larger platform. My primary reason is for bow season; the M150 just has more room than the M100U to maneuver.
The Platforms
As you can see in the photos I upload, the M100U (bought in 2014 or 15) just lacks a little bit in length on the platform toward the footrest and the corners are cropped at the base towards the seat brace. That cropping at the seat base is the most concerning negative I feel the M100U has against it. I like to stand a lot during bow season and at any point while standing, you typically will lean against the upright seat. If you need to pivot to look to your rear/backwards then that room on the platform is just not enough. Makes you be just too cautious; a miss step can easily occur as the real estate just isn't there for your feet to stand on near the base.
The Footrests
The footrest on the M150 is permanent/fixed and does not fold down. This is fine, but it needs to be taller/steeper. It feels a little short in elevating your feet. It's OK, but not as nice as the comfort the Add-On M105 Footrest that can be installed on the M100U. The M105 Footrest is real nice and a MUST BUY (~$25) add-on for the M100U. The M105 Footrest has faulty instructions when I purchased it (in 2014 or 2015) and I just did the best I could to figure out what their intentions were when the instructions were wrote. I believe they made a few a changes to the stand platform that were not there when the instructions were first wrote. Either that, or they were wrote for an different stand completely. But either way, the footrest on the M100U is better.
Ratchet Strapped vs No Strap
Other than those two things, they pretty much are the same in function. The M150 does come with a design feature that the M100U should have incorporated into it as well though. It M150 has a designed ratchet strap that secures the platform from wiggling. The M100U does not come with this design and you must supply your own ratchet strap and hook it onto the stand platform.
Weight, Ease of Use
The weight of the two stands is not really a problem carrying into the woods or installing the stand in trees. The M150 is obviously bigger and I wouldn't use it if I was planning on moving stand sites often. The M100U is definitely better suited and more nimble navigating the woods with it on your back.
If I was to buy just 1 of the 2 stands I would go with the M150 over the M100U.
NOTE: Do Not Buy the available Shooting Mount! It is useless as designed and a waste of money (~$50).

Irritated their now made in CHINA and they put plenty of stickers on it letting you know it’s made in china.
WHAT THE HELL DO THEY KNOW ABOUT TREE STANDS?
Most of the welds are ok but do see some under cut. Under cut in welding is not good.
