Just Buy It...M150 vs M100U Review
"Just Buy It!"As you can see most reviews are 5 Stars. That rating is legit. This Review is mainly a comparison with the M100U.M150 Vs M100UI have used the M150 as primary stand this year (2016). I jumped in on this one this year because of the larger platform. My primary reason is for bow season; the M150 just has more room than the M100U to maneuver. The PlatformsAs you can see in the photos I upload, the M100U (bought in 2014 or 15) just lacks a little bit in length on the platform toward the footrest and the corners are cropped at the base towards the seat brace. That cropping at the seat base is the most concerning negative I feel the M100U has against it. I like to stand a lot during bow season and at any point while standing, you typically will lean against the upright seat. If you need to pivot to look to your rear/backwards then that room on the platform is just not enough. Makes you be just too cautious; a miss step can easily occur as the real estate just isn't there for your feet to stand on near the base. The FootrestsThe footrest on the M150 is permanent/fixed and does not fold down. This is fine, but it needs to be taller/steeper. It feels a little short in elevating your feet. It's OK, but not as nice as the comfort the Add-On M105 Footrest that can be installed on the M100U. The M105 Footrest is real nice and a MUST BUY (~$25) add-on for the M100U. The M105 Footrest has faulty instructions when I purchased it (in 2014 or 2015) and I just did the best I could to figure out what their intentions were when the instructions were wrote. I believe they made a few a changes to the stand platform that were not there when the instructions were first wrote. Either that, or they were wrote for an different stand completely. But either way, the footrest on the M100U is better.Ratchet Strapped vs No StrapOther than those two things, they pretty much are the same in function. The M150 does come with a design feature that the M100U should have incorporated into it as well though. It M150 has a designed ratchet strap that secures the platform from wiggling. The M100U does not come with this design and you must supply your own ratchet strap and hook it onto the stand platform.Weight, Ease of UseThe weight of the two stands is not really a problem carrying into the woods or installing the stand in trees. The M150 is obviously bigger and I wouldn't use it if I was planning on moving stand sites often. The M100U is definitely better suited and more nimble navigating the woods with it on your back.If I was to buy just 1 of the 2 stands I would go with the M150 over the M100U.NOTE: Do Not Buy the available Shooting Mount! It is useless as designed and a waste of money (~$50).

I highly recommend this stand. Very well designed. I did need to use the adjustment feature to get the platform level. It is a bit heavy to get up in the tree, but the mounting bracket makes it easy once you get it hoisted up. The platform is nice and large, so easy to stand and turn around in the stand if you need to. I haven't hunted out of it yet, but the seat is very comfortable. I also highly recommend the shooting rail, which is an accessory. It mounts to the frame and seems very stable.

Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2018
I've been a ladder stand guy all my life needed more flexibility. When they say this is the most comfortable stand they are not lying. Positives hanging is simple bracket to adjust to tree / level stand is the best. Extremely comfortable for long sits. Platform has more than enough room to pull back crossbow and reload. If I had to change anything I would make both ratchet straps longer. I will be strapped in just incase I fall asleep it's that comfortable. Update 11-10-18 first time in the stand with snow. My boots RedHead Expedition Ultra are a couple years old. They seemed to be really slippery on the stand. A suggestion I have would be too spray the grip guard on the platform. I purchased a new pair of Baffin Pac boots with a more aggressive tred so we will see if the results are the same. Update one stand has been in place for second year now I have purchased two others. If the tree is leaning no problem the adjustability on the stand is awesome. Be careful you will fall asleep safety first make sure you harness up. Update: 5-20-20 just hung my 4th stand today I personally go up 23ft tree was on a bad lean had zero issues kicking the bottom brace out to level it off. I personally set each stand so the front of the stand is up just a tad bit higher than the back this way I lean towards the tree. I have shooting rails on all 4. The stand is big so getting it up to 23ft can be challenging. Personally I went to HD and purchased an attachment point that I screw into the tree then use a come along to hoist the stand up. The great part is once I have it in the sleeve that is already attached to the tree it's just adjustments from there. Thus time the stand was leaning to the right so I loosen the sleeve while the platform was tight pulled it over and bam level she was.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Buy It...M150 vs M100U Review
Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2017
"Just Buy It!"

As you can see most reviews are 5 Stars. That rating is legit.

This Review is mainly a comparison with the M100U.

M150 Vs M100U
I have used the M150 as primary stand this year (2016). I jumped in on this one this year because of the larger platform. My primary reason is for bow season; the M150 just has more room than the M100U to maneuver.

The Platforms
As you can see in the photos I upload, the M100U (bought in 2014 or 15) just lacks a little bit in length on the platform toward the footrest and the corners are cropped at the base towards the seat brace.

The Footrests
The footrest on the M150 is permanent/fixed and does not fold down. But either way, the footrest on the M100U is better.

Ratchet Strapped vs No Strap
Other than those two things, they pretty much are the same in function. The M150 does come with a design feature that the M100U should have incorporated into it as well though. It M150 has a designed ratchet strap that secures the platform from wiggling. The M100U does not come with this design and you must supply your own ratchet strap and hook it onto the stand platform.

Weight, Ease of Use
The weight of the two stands is not really a problem carrying into the woods or installing the stand in trees. The M150 is obviously bigger and I wouldn't use it if I was planning on moving stand sites often. The M100U is definitely better suited and more nimble navigating the woods with it on your back.

If I was to buy just 1 of the 2 stands I would go with the M150 over the M100U.

NOTE: Do Not Buy the available Shooting Mount! It is useless as designed and a waste of money (~$50).
