When we started our kitchen renovation, we were getting tired of making choices. When it came to the main sink faucet, we looked around and every faucet began to look alike after a while. I always wanted a touchless faucet - just seemed like a cool thing to have but had heard horror stories of the sensor not working well and also the short battery life in most of these devices. Finally I came across this faucet and decided to buy it since it claimed to connect to 110V and did not need batteries. It also claimed to have a sensitive sensor.
When the faucet arrived, it just looked beautiful out of the box. Very stylish. There were many parts but my installer had no troubles installing it. The sensor works perfectly EVERY time, it doesn't test your patience like some of those airport faucets! It's so nice not to have to touch the faucet when you have some meat or chicken or other food stuff on your hands.
The flow and the temperature are set by the position of the handle. You can't change those things when you don't want to touch the faucet. If you need different temperature settings every time, you may not enjoy the faucet since you will end up touching the handle as much as the normal faucet.
The other thing I noticed was that in case of electricity failure, the faucet will not turn on. This can be a problem if this is the only faucet in your kitchen... but I suppose you won't be cooking in a dark kitchen if electricity fails. I could be wrong on this point but I really think the faucet needs to be connected to live electric circuit to make it work.
The pull-out feature -- when you pull out, it will not retract by itself like some other faucets do. The magnet holds it in place but won't pull it back so you need to stuff the tube back in manually. This is for information only and not necessarily a critique or any hardship.
Overall, a fantastic faucet with millisecond response; very reliable and extremely stylish. It's a conversation piece for sure. It will spoil you enough that you will start waving your hand under every faucet and will wonder why water never came out!
