Product Description

The Da Vinci adjustable ankle weights are manufactured with the comform and ease of use in mind. Made of soft cloth exterior with velcro tightening band making them adjustable to a variety of ankle and wrist sizes while ansorbing moisture. While tightening the weights, the soft material stretches to provide a comfortable tight grip around ankles so the weights do not move during exercise. Use ankle weights to enhance balance or strength training. Ankle weights are frequently recommended and used by physical therapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists, trainers and athletic coaches in rehabilitation exercises and sport training. Available in multiple vibrant colors and sold in pairs as shown.

I am disappointed with the quality of this product. In March 2019, I order a total of 24 sets of these weights in sizes varying from of 1# to 4# for use in a retirement community group exercise classes. After 36 uses, the outside fabric of the ankle weights has holes. I contacted the vendor (ChipAndGames) directly, who stated the manufacture does no offer an extended warrant on exercise equipment and that "below the outer fabric is a thick inner material which holds the weights. As long as the inner material is not damaged the ankle weights will function proper". At this time that may be true, but I wonder how long it will be before it also has holes and the inner sand-like material leaks out. Regardless, I would not recommend this product as they easily become damaged on the exterior surface material.

THESE ARE PERFECT. They just arrived and they are absolutely brilliant. they're easy to put on, practically un-noticable on your ankles since the fabric is so soft. It's like my feet just unusually put on 2lbs each and my brain can't figure out how because these are SO EVENLY WEIGHTED AND WONDERFULLY MADE! They just arrived this afternoon and they haven't left my legs since. So comfy I left them on while writing on my bed for a couple hours. Also, I'm quite skinny, but if you attach two of them together they go around your waist also - which means I can jog to Runyon Canyon and hike with them as a waist belt! Best news EVER! Buying the 4 or 5lb ones next.

These are a super soft material. I could use these in the hot months on bare ankles and not have chafing or slipping. They can be sized pretty smal to fairly large. They are narrow, and the weight evenly distributed, which I prefer. Their narrow design makes it possible to combine them with other weight sizes for more weight for different exercises. I have been using then every other day for PT routines, and they are holding up. I am not rough with my equipment, and store it where it will not get damaged. I also do not lend it out. These are a great by for PT, a home fitness program, or just staying in shape.

I have had other weights in the past that would rub your leg sore but not these. They stay put. If you need ankle weights, you need Da Vinci weights.
