Mantis 7321 Aerator/Dethatcher Combo Attachment Tillers

Description

Aerating and dethatching are necessary for a beautiful lawn. Save time AND money! Aerator Attachment cuts into the soil under your lawn with four sets of tempered steel “knives,” to permit easy absorption of water, oxygen and nutrients. Tines cut 4 hairline slits roughly 2 1/2 inches apart and 1 1/2 inches deep. Perfect to use in compact, clay soil. Aerate before overseeding or spot seeding your lawn. Dethatcher Attachment quickly removes weeds and the tan-looking built-up “thatch” that leads to an unhealthy lawn. The 60 spring-steel picks let you dethatch a 15″ swath with a single pass. Lawn care attachments are not recommended for surface-rooted grasses (Bermuda, Zoysia, Centipede, and St. Augustine) because it can damage the root system.

Product Description

Lawn Aeration and Dethatching are two necessities to maintain a beautiful, healthy lawn. Now two of the most popular lawn care attachments to the Mantis 7000 Series Tiller/Cultivator are available in a money saving combo pack. Tiller is sold separately.

I really like this de thatcher it is heavier duty than I was expecting. It pulls the thatch out like crazy. Use your lawn mower to pick up the thatch. The aerator blades work very well. They don’t cover much ground but just do more passes to get it done. It’s easy to use but after a while it becomes a workout .

1.0 out of 5 stars Tears your lawn to pieces

Dethatcher works fine but the aerator is basically a straight tine tiller that tears the **** out of your lawn. First pick is the healthy before, the others are the after. You can see how much grass has been torn out of the lawn. Couple days later lawn just looked destroyed. Last pick - no joke - same grass two days later and after a rain - basically took out 30% of my grass - do not use "scraper" aerator like the mantis to aerator your lawn unless you're looking to destroy it. Compare the first and last picture for reference.
