If you are expecting Weber quality this is not a product for you. Although for the money, I believe it delivers a lot of value. I like the concept of having my gas grill and charcoal grill in one spot. Assembly instructions were pretty straight forward and all pieces are nicely marked to match up with the illustrations. It took me about 5 hours total including unpacking and clean up of shipping materials. Very heavy so I would suggest assembly at or near your usual bbq location. No special tools needed. Just a PH screwdriver and adjustable pliers. Cordless drill\screwdriver will help cut the time down.
I like the design as it is very open and seems like it will be easy to remove and clean key parts. My comment about Weber quality relates to the thinness of the sheet metal, as you can tell right away that anytime you open, close or move the unit there is a tinny sound to it. I bought this with the expectation that for the price I would be satisfied if I got 4-6 years out of it. Again, for the money this seems to be a pretty good value.
Update: 9/6/16
Almost made it 3 years. Less than I hoped for. Both the drip pan and the ash pan completely rusted out over a year ago so I replaced those. Recently noticed the burners on the gas side not heating fully so I went to replace those but discovered all of the connecting points were rusted away so not safe to install new ones wihtout some major mods. Although this grill wa under roof all the time I will admit I was not always consistant with keeping the cover on. That being said the exterior held up well, It;s the internals that suffered from very poor quality materials. Calling 1-800-GotJunk? and just ordered a Weber.
The charcoal side is to small coals are to close to the meat causing it to burn easily. If you you less coals then it takes forever to cook. This grill is only good for burgers and links in my opinion.
