I’m definitely aware that this rod was meant for ice fishing but for the price I thought, “Let me get this for my wife and see if she likes it.”.Fast forward a couple of bluegills and a close strike on a peacock earlier this week, I had the bright idea of testing it out on a real peacock. And here we are!6lb braid with a $2 swim bait from Walmart. Now that’s some frugal fishing if you ask me!I’ll try to update this review with the durability of the rod. And it held up like a chap against this beautiful peacock 👍
