I like it.

First, its really small, much smaller than my thoughts.

Second, its well builded, even the packages are better than most such kind of gadgets which direct import from China. The packaging is among the top level even in US.

Third, its working great, exactly as instructed.

Last one, which I saw in lots of complains about other type of China build gadgets, the instructions or manual is very detailed, not just a piece of paper with some horrible graphics. I didnt read English version, but Chinese version has lots of details, even explains to you the reasons for some default setting variables.

Couple of minutes I made it work with my receiver and the Vizio tablet controller. Very happy with it.

waited to write a review for a few weeks! product works just as described. my pc runs on windomws 10, purchased another product and had to return because it did NOT work with wondows 10. simple to use USB plug and play. i use with my business payment platform "fareharbor" and this makes it quicker to now swipe and the info is input for me vs. manually typing all the info per purhase.
little tip: i used the "no hole" wall hanging command strips to mount this to my pc monitor and it works great! keeps it off my desk and out of the way .

The card reader works for me with it's default configuration. No need to use the configuration tool posted earlier, but I will be testing it soon. (Will update review when that happens)

Reader seems to be quite sturdy. It feels very well built, and hopefully it will last a while. Occasionally, it has some issues swiping a card the first time, but a second swipe seems to go through just fine. The cable is LONG, like about 6' long. Cards can only be swiped one way, with the stripe on the side opposite the LED.

It works as a standard USB HID device under linux, and I'm using it with a web browser and jquery.cardswipe ([...]). It works beautifully with this setup. I'll be using it with the javascript library, and Stripe to process payments. The reader just types in the data like a keyboard, so you'll need to make sure that the computer doesn't save any card details anywhere on the computer. Since I'm doing this the way I am, everything should be good.

All in all, it seems like a decent little device that fits my needs. Definitely worth the $20 that it was at the time of purchase. Will likely be purchasing at least one more of these in the near future.
