Camera attachment seems OK ...
I wanted a (comparatively) tall monopod but reviews on this and similar items complain about the 1/4-20 camera mount popping or twisting off. As soon as this Amazon Basic arrived I installed a 1/4-20 coupling nut - see photo - and gave it a couple good yanks. it didn't budge. I don't think I'd want to wave it around with a 2000mm tele attached, but it seems adequate for my amateur use. I got what I paid for.
