I have big calves and ankles, as well as a larger than normal shoe size. Finding a boot that fits me well is a bit of a challenge. These boots are fantastic. They fit me perfectly and are so comfortable! I tried on a bunch of different sized boots in the store and only the 11s fit, so I went with an 11 in these. They aren't too big but have plenty of room for big fluffy socks. The laces are long enough to wrap around the top of the boots, but they stay up for me just fine without doing that.
The boots are super sturdy and I had no problem with water leaking in from slush. I wore them when it was -8 and they kept my feet nice and warm. I also wore them when it was in the 40's, and my feet didn't overheat like I worried they might. The longest I've worn them is a couple of hours, but I had no discomfort in that time.
These boots are easy to slide on, and the laces are spaced properly and give you a nice personalized fit. I didn't get any blisters or sore spots from wearing the boots, and even though they kept my feet warm, they didn't cause me to get sweaty. They seem to breathe well while not letting out all of the heat.
I love that these boots fit my larger legs well but are still cute. Utilitarian is fine, but sometimes I want cute and functional. These fit the bill. I don't think they run large, I think they are true to size for boots. They fit me perfectly, and I'm really glad I bought them. I am thinking about getting another pair in a different color! Well worth the money.

Comfortable boot for wide foot and wide calves
Sizing: I have a very wide foot and bought the 11 to allow for extra room. I'm glad I did. I feel like the 10 would have been too small. The comfortable padding must take up some of that size.Calf fit: I have plus sized calves and these boots easily open up with extra long laces so no problem getting them on and lacing up. It looks a little bulkier than I prefer at the top of the boot (see picture) but that leads to my next element of this review.Comfort: The lining/padding is very comfortable.Height: I saw the height of these in the description and on other reviews. They still wound up being taller than I expected but I guess now I'm prepared for anything, lol. I do worry that the height of the boot will sag/gather at the ankle but time will tell on that.Performance: I don't live in an excessively snowy climate but when it does snow, I'm out for long periods of time playing with my kids. Our recent snow just melted but I'm looking forward to trying them out soon. Unfortunately, I can't review their performance yet.Sorry for the sub-par picture. The "foot selfie" angle isn't the best but gives you a good enough picture of the height I referenced and the slight bulkiness at the top of the boot. Overall, I am excited about my new boots and so happy they fit as well as they do.

Absolutely LOVE THESE BOOTS! I ordered 4 pair of boots to try - two Kamik, one Northside and one Tundra. They were all cute, but different. I ordered these in a 9 and I usually wear 8.5, sometimes a 9. They fit great with room for a medium weight sock. Much more comfortable than the other 3 pair I tried on. The nylon uppers really allow you to flex and move in these boots - they're not stiff and restricting around the ankle. The toe box is wide and feels like there's plenty of room. Pleasantly surprised to see they have Thinsulate and are rated for -25 degrees. I got the navy/rust combo because they were cheaper than the other colors at the time and I love them. They're a little different looking because everything else I have is black, but they will hide dirt well. Plan to have these a long time.
