Use it for hanging sit ups (185 lb bodyweight+ 40 lb weighted vest) using the inversion boots which probably adds 5-7 more lbs so about 230 lbs total, without issue in my smaller apartment. Use it for pull ups when I don’t go to gym. Also attached pull up rings to do dips. Slight movement in upper half on sit ups, a little creaky, but overall it’s sturdy. 1 hr set up. I think it’s a Great value.

The Olympic Posts are a must have. In fact, they are the reason I went with the CAP squat rack. I was a little worried about the squat rack being flimsy, but once you attach the 6 post weight holders, this thing becomes much more stable. I had been researching squat racks for months but finally went with CAP because of the price, close hole spacing, Olympic weight holders, and affordable safety arms. I will never bench or squat 500 pounds, so this things should last as long as my lifting career (of course I'm 50).

I have to say, for a rack that I paid less than a hundred dollars for, this little guy has been pretty excellent. I've had it for about six months now and it's still in pretty good shape. I think this product can make you very happy, as long as you're aware of what exactly it is you're buying and tailor your expectations to it. This is a relatively small, cheap, lightweight, barebones rack with a small weight peg and a bar holder. It's also got a bar across the top you can set up a bodyweight trainer on or use for pull ups, just don't do what your Crossfit buddies tell you or you'll live to regret it. It's stable, but not enough for kipping pullups or whatever they're preaching now.

The rack was very easy to assemble and came with all the parts it needed. It has an advertised weight limit of 300 pounds. I've exceeded that a little bit by racking 315 on it (don't do this, it's stupid) and it held. It was a little wobbly, but the bar didn't come down and kill me. The point of failure on this thing is halfway up the vertical legs. They join by overlapping and having a small bolt go through the holes on each side of the overlap. It may be worth your while to take a trip to the hardware store and upgrade the nuts and bolts.

If you're worried about the height of the lifter, you probably shouldn't be. I'm 6'5" and used to squat for volume out of this rack. I set the pins until I can stand almost straight up before ever touching the bar, and there are still a couple holes above the pins. Unless you're around 7', you'll be okay. Going the other way, the holes go almost all the way to the floor, so if you want the bar just a few inches off the ground, you can do that, too. It's wide enough for me to sit all the way down into a squat and not have my knees hit the posts, so you should be good in that direction, too.

The holes are not numbered or color-coded for their mate like some racks are, so you'll have to count or make your own marks if you want that. Not a big deal, but it's important to some people. The hooks are fairly small and are a V-shape, not the traditional J hook. If I have one big gripe about this rack, it's the hooks. They're sturdy, but they're a little too small. I had an out of body experience when I missed the hook on one side at the end of a set. 2/10. Would not recommend that experience. The paint on them will also rub off on the bar's knurling. This can be good or bad depending on how panicky you are. Red flakes and lots of sweat made it look like I was bleeding during a workout. My girlfriend said we were going to the ER, but I knew I was going to Valhalla.

Final word: buy this rack if you can be careful and don't plan on going over 300 pounds on any of the big lifts, or if you have a younger kid you're trying to build a little home gym for on a budget. Outside of that, you'll leave this rack behind pretty quickly and there are much better options out there for you.

This is a great quality power rack for a home gym. Super sturdy and easy to assemble. I received the top bar with a factory defect. It was a little difficult to find the customer service through their web site. I communicated with an Amazon rep who sent me more detailed info about the company and how to reach out. They responded and will ship the new bar to me. A highly recommended product. Very happy.

If you are wanting a larger Power Rack that includes everything, obviously this isn't what you want. But if you are wanting a Power Rack that includes the ability to squat with weights, bench press and do additional pull-ups... this is one of the best (especially for the price).

I purchased additional attachments that were extremely easy to use and would be helpful in deciding to purchase this. I bought attachments that can hook the the middle of the top bar so I can have a punching bag and weights to pull with. I also purchase a pull-bar that easily attached to the top.

This is a great Power Rack. I probably spent 6 months looking at many types of Power Racks before I purchased this one because I wanted the right one for my situation. I love this one and I think you will too!

A lot of reviews mentioned both are the same, not opposites and mine are definitely both the same. I'm not sure why this matters though, they fit in opposite sides of my rack and are sturdy and angled just right so plates don't slide off. Will order another pair soon!

This style of dip bar would work better on a 3 inch by 3 inch rack so it would be more stable. It works though.
