One issue is that one of hole sets where the vertical beams comes together don't line up on mine, and so can't be used (not an issue for me since I don't lift in that particular position). Other than that, only cosmetic issues. The J-hook rubber padding is deteriorating, the plastic caps on the ends of the plate holders have popped off, and the plate holders are scratched badly. It looks really beat up, but it does its job.
There's a design flaw with the plate holders where, if the left side is stacked with plates, it will block you from positionining the safety bar in the lowest position (bench press level). You'll have to remove the weights on the left hanger to reposition the safety bar. I eventually bought a separate plate holder.
If you're not sure if you want to dive into lifting, this is a great buy. The real issue is that it has a 300lb max. If you are a heavy squatter, you'll reach this limit before long. If you plan on using it for OHP and bench, it should last you a while.
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase, since I wasn't sure if I was going to lift for long. If you are a dedicated lifter, skip this and go for a higher-end rack right away.

Let’s talk about shipping. The shipping speed was fast and arrived sooner than I thought it would. However, the packaging was absolutely obliterated. The box had old water damage that weakened the integrity of the package. The tape was half off. The seller needs to package this with those white plastic ties that go around the box.
-
After getting the package inside and emptied out, all of the hardware and pieces present and accounted for. Assembly was straight forward. You really have to be lacking brain cells in order to have any difficulty assembling. A lot of other people who have bought this squat rack, complain of the rack “not being sturdy enough”. This rack is pretty sturdy if you put enough effort into making all bolts and nuts super tight. If you need more stability, utilize the anchor points and attach it to the floor.
-
Overall, this is a great purchase and I am thoroughly happy with the rack. Seller could do better at packaging.

We assembled the CAP 1/2 rack as instructed, EXCEPT we turned the pull up bar upside down, to make it easier for my wife to reach....it was the perfect height in the adjusted position. All fittings went together smoothly, I only needed a socket wrench to tighten the nuts (started with an adjustable wrench, but switched to a socket to speed up the process). The box was a bit beat up when it arrived at our door, but the unit inside did not have any scratches or dings in it, so packaging did it's job.
We do a lot of pull ups, and the rack was stable for us during the pull up reps. We don't do much kipping type moves with our exercises, we stay pretty strict with our form. We weight 105 lbs and 152 lbs, so with the rack assembled and weighted down with 100# of bumper plates it was fine for us during our exercise movements, really no shifting at all. We did put the unit on top of a 4x8 short pile rug we got from Lowes. The rug has defied the area of our garage for our garage gym for the last couple of years, and it worked out perfectly under the CAP 1/2 rack.
We really like the unit, and look forward to many years of workouts with it.

I've been more consistent with working out ever since I ordered my home gym based around this rack and in a matter of 3 weeks I've lost 4 pounds and gained lots of beginner strength. Well worth the investment over expensive gym memberships.
Overall, a very good product for the price. Next step up in terms of half racks takes you from the 300$ that this costs to 700-800 dollars and in my opinion, if you need something more sturdy than this rack, get a cage instead.
One thing to note, the packaging arrived in really poor shape. No missing or damaged pieces thankfully, which is pretty impressive. Thicker cardboard on the box cap would help a lot. Box weighs about 100 pounds so for some people it would be best to unpack/carry the parts to where you want to set the rack up piecemeal.
