Haven't done any scientific tests but swimming pool has remained comfortable throughout the summer - late June-July in Michigan. Can't really say how much the solar cover contributes since we bought a new heater - first one in 30 years - and it has a built-in thermometer that controls the pool temperature. The combination of a more energy-efficient heater with the ability to set the temperature plus the solar cover has made swimming very pleasant. It's easy to push the cover aside or pull it onto the deck to get it out of the way. Using a soft brush on the end of a pool pole, it's easy to spread the cover out on the pool's surface.

Bought July 2017. Put it back on June 1 2019 and it has little plastic pieces coming off. I stored it as suggested and it’s falling apart. Trying to see how to make a claim

I was happy to replace my older, much more industrial style pool cover for this much lighter one. However, after just a couple of weeks of use, the seams have begun to pull apart. I am very gentle with the removal and covering but the seams didn't stay together for very long sadly. I guess the heavy duty ones are still worth it in the end.
