What problem are we solving?
We set out to build a professional grade speed radar that would be accessible to anyone, aimed to redesign the radar gun from the ground up.
How did we get our start?
Inspired by a friend who drove to a police radar sign trailer to track his little leaguer's pitching speed, we aimed to make accurate radar measurements accessible to all, designing a product line for professionals and consumers alike.
What makes our products unique?
Our technology is used throughout the world for many uses including law enforcement, engineering, science, education, sports and hobbies.

Ball Exit Velocity off the bat
Studies have shown that for every extra one mile-per-hour added to exit velocity, the ball will travel an estimated four to six feet further, depending on its trajectory and launch angle. That means it has a direct effect on whether a player has warning track power or home run power, if they can drive the ball into the gaps for extra-base hits, and if they can hit the ball hard enough to put more pressure on the defense and slow down their reaction time.
Flexible and Easy to Use
Specifically designed to measure the fastest speed of a ball in flight. The Ball Coach Radar is a pro-level radar gun and speed training tool for smart player development through one-on-one coaching or self-guided drills, and hands-free operation keeps it simple.
Pro-Level Accuracy (+/- 1 MPH)
The Ball Coach Radar gun has the same accuracy as the bulky, expensive radar guns within 120 feet of range on a baseball (further range on larger objects).
Portable and Discreet
By making crucial results like hitting power, pitching speeds, throwing speeds, serving speeds and shot speeds instantly visible, the Ball Coach radar is the smart and easy way to get better faster.
Hands-Free Mode
Constant-On / Personal Training Mode provides versatile hands-free use. Rechargeable AAA batteries recommended if using this mode frequently.

My son pitches for various 14U teams during the year and I use this radar device in many of his games to measure his cruising fastball velocity as well to calculate his change-up to fastball differential.
For about $300 dollars, this small device does the same precise job as other expensive baseball radar devices in the market. If you don’t need to take velocity reading from far away distance in wide angles deviations from home plate, then this little device is for you.
I have suggested to the company that builds this device to add Text to speech capability mode. This will allow me to get immediate feedback of his velocity when I catch him during our pitching practices.
Once the pitchers are throwing around 70+ miles, it is very hard and dangerous to catch them while holding the radar in your throwing hand.
Typically, during these type of practices, that is (just the two of us) , I used to place the radar in a tripod safely behind me and set it to “continuous” reading mode. It has a decent buffer size. After 20 pitches, I read the buffered velocities and reset it. Recently I have placed the Radar on top of the catchers helmet using some GoPro widgets... see attached figure...

UPDATE: After using this radar for the rest of the 2017 season, I've upped the rating to 5 stars. I started out just using the single pitch option but the continuos mode is the way to go. Well worth the money.
