About this item
- 12” CLASSIC BIKE - The Classic is the budget-friendly, unembellished choice. It features a painted steel frame, a built-in footrest & an 11” starting seat height, so your toddler can easily straddle the bike at a young age.
- EASY TO ADJUST - As your child grows, you can adjust the seat & handlebar heights—no tools required. The Classic has a seat height range from 11-16” to fit inseam lengths of 12-17”. Plus, the foam tires will never go flat!
- WHAT IS A BALANCE BIKE? - A balance bike introduces your child to the feeling of being on a bike, building up their confidence by encouraging striding and allowing them to practice bike-handling skills.
- WHY DO I NEED IT? - Balance bikes are proven time and again to teach boys & girls to ride faster than training wheels. Your child will learn balance & steering, which makes transitioning to a bicycle with pedals much easier (when the time comes).
- JOIN THE STRIDER FAMILY - Meet the bike that set the world on fire and revolutionized the way kids learn to ride. Children as young as one are experiencing the thrill of riding without training wheels—before they're out of diapers.

My nephew received this bike when he was a year old. He's now almost 10 and it has survived both his sisters (who were more rough on it than he was) and two of his other cousins (who are rough and tumble boys).
It has constantly been used and loved, and it only has minimal wear on the foam tires. It has survived jumps, mud, trails, branches, camping and the mountains.
The construction is very good. It’s sturdy and well built. My son seems to have no problems controlling the steering and is able to maneuver it easily. I was a little concerned about the tires since they’re not inflated like a normal bike tire but they seem durable and we have not had any issues yet. Our driveway is gravel and my sons taken it ‘off road’ through the yard etc without any tire problems. They even survived a brief encounter with our Great Dane! Plus the bike itself is very lightweight and easy to carry when little one gets tired and needs a break.
I really think this little bike is the way to go. Spend the extra $20 for this. The balance, coordination, and confidence this has fostered in my boy is beyond worth it. This bike will certainly last for years to come and I’m sure will be passed down to his baby sister when she’s ready!
The construction is very sturdy. The wheels are made of solid rubber so there's no chance for any blown tires.
No brakes on the bike, which can be seen as a negative. There are balance bikes nowadays with brakes. I don't see why they couldn't implement them somehow.
All in all, it's a great solid bike that will be her first experience for riding and we are fully satisfied with that.
