Customers have mixed opinions about the fit of the sport activity glove. Some mention that they fit great, last quite a while, and work, while others say that they are a little snug and not all that comfortable. The finger holes are not all the comfortable, and there is not much fabric between their fingers. They are not comparable to your bare hands, leather hand grips, or gloves that have a bit of fabric between them. The wraps ride up out of place during the gymnastics rig.
"The way you size the finger holes worked great. It's a buttonhole that you trim the inside to fit your fingers...." Read more

Customers are mixed about the stability of the product. Some mention that the grip has been perfectly fine on the barbell with chalk, while others say that their grip was horrible and they were very slippery on the pull up bars.

However, some customers say that they have ripped their hands with these on multiple times, and their palms were actually damaged.

-Chalk and machine washing DOESN'T affect quality/damage the grips at all (I wash mine in cold water and they don't smell after drying properly)
- Wodies are the only grips that fit my small hands properly and comfortably
-I bought my first pair of Wodies 5 years ago and still have them.Yes,there's a lot of wear and tear after 5 years, but I still use them for both Crossfit(weigh lifting) and Pilates (excellent wrist support). After five years the neoprene on the palms is still intact with no holes/rips/tears in them.
-I have tried other grips, but remain a loyal Wodie customer as I feel this product was made by Crossfitters FOR Crossfit!
-HOWEVER,in my experience with using these for Crossfit, they are not ideal for bar work,as they don't offer proper grip,so I would not suggest buying them for gymnastics training or movements
-Also I do still get callouses on my palms, but have yet to find any grip that prevents this
On the plus side, of all the gloves, grips, and wraps I've seen people use for CrossFit, these are probably some of the best. It's hard to beat the versatility they offer, protecting your hands and wrists during all sorts of random WOD movements. It's great to have just one product do so much. I used the sizing guide and followed the instructions for opening the finger holes and they fit very well. My second pair has lasted me eight months, and they still have a lot of life left in them. And, of course, they've done a great job protecting my hands (emphasis on hands) from rips and calluses.
However, when fellow athletes ask me how much I like them, I usually heave a sigh and blurt an apathetic "eh." Here's the rub (pun intended): WODies leave the space at the bottom of each finger (and up) exposed. And this space, at least on me, has been particularly subject to bad calluses. My skin there is constantly torn and beat up, and it's gotten to the point where just dead-hanging on pull-up bars is really painful. I think the fact that the WODies require a lot of chalk exacerbates the problem as the space at the bottom of my fingers during WODs is coated in a lot of residual chalk (because it's nearby the surface of the WODies). The last thing you want to do while you are trying to PR Helen is take gobs of time carefully applying chalk to your grips to avoid this problem. I've also found the portion of the grips that lies outside my ring finger (near the base of my pinky) to fold over and wedge itself in between my ring and pinky fingers, sometimes painfully pinching my skin.
And then there's the stank. Even if I leave these bad boys out to dry, they still smell. It's nice that I can throw them in the wash (I do, once a week), but the wrist wraps take a while to dry; sometimes they're not fully dry for my next WOD a couple days later. Also, too, the smell doesn't always go completely away. I might try sticking them in the freezer (to kill bacteria, like what people do with jeans instead of washing them) and see how that goes.
A couple of other things to consider... If I'm doing a WOD in which I need to wear these and do double-unders, I've found it much harder to rotate my wrists and properly execute DUs with these on. I've found that taking them off for DUs is a big help (but then it sucks to have to rush to put them back on, then take them off again, etc.). However, this could probably happen for any product offering wrist wraps. For muscle-ups, I've found that I don't actually like the feel of the grips on wooden rings, but I do need the wrist support. I've worn these backwards for MUs (grips on the outside of my hand), which helps. But, again, it's hassle to alter them during a WOD.
Bottom Line: These are durable and offer good protection. They might smell after a while. They have left me in search of a product that protects the bottom of my fingers from rips and calluses. But, hey, they might work for you, and they're probably a lot better than whatever you may be using now.
1) the wrist strap is fine, I have seen much better but it is fine
2) The material that protects your hand is made of a thin material no different than a work out shirt. The material is very slick and even after adding chalk it was almost dangerous to do pull-ups as my grip was horrible. The company will tell you that you need to endure 3-4 workouts before the material will work, that is silliness. I asked for a refund and they suggested “We do hope you will bear with the pain for the next few workouts so you will have a chance to avoid the pain of not having them.”
3) The Return Policy is a sham – The gloves come with holes barely sewn shut and there is no way to see if they fit unless you cut a hole. The companies policy is that once you open the finger holes they will not accept any returns. This policy is only designed to protect the company and it is a shame they won’t stand by their product.
For the money these gloves cost I expected a lot more. The company clearly is more interested in making money than pleasing its customers. Please buy these gloves at your own risk. Only cut a hole for your fingers if you are 100% sure you want to keep them. Only buy these gloves if you are ok with the idea that the first 3-4 workouts will not be ideal and even then the gloves may not work for you.
BE WARNED – These gloves are expensive, they are not ideal for crossfit and the company does not stand by its product and will not offer a refund.

While with the price thinking that they look cheap but tbh they work.
You need to chalk the palm but no ripped clauses 😊
I’ve had every set of grips going and these are the best in my opinion.
I’ve had a pair for 2 years *3-5 times a week CrossFit, mostly for gymnastic ripage
and I’ve got single hole by the index finger on my weaker hand. So I have no idea what that one guy was doing to tear them up like the photo he posted
The only time I did mups with bear grips I tore my calluses right off.
Soft and durable
