Big Bang for the buck is a snap to assemble
This tv stand is a bargain! It arrived promptly and was heavy, so I imagined myself wrangling this beast into submission. I am a single 59 year old lady with more ambition than strength (or tools). I unpacked everything and laid out all the parts. The bags of parts were labled and went perfectly with the instructions. This was easily the simplest, most clearly-written/illustrated set of instructions I've ever encountered. There was even a little Plastic bag of screws and such, and it was labeled "spare parts." What a concept! There are quite a few steps to the assembly process, but no aspect was particularly difficult or strenuous. I'd say the entire assembly from start to finish took me no more than an hour! What was more stressful was the removing and replacing the audio-video equipment into the new stand! (Tip: take a picture of the back of your tv or did player where the equipment is plugged-in. Then use tape and a permanent marker to code the many adapters!) The Spanish oak is a taupe color. The legs aren't really a gunmetal color as described but more of a matte black; still, the finsihed look is nice. Overall, I like this stand and plan to order the matching coffee table now. Note to self: figure out a way to conceal all of those nasty cords asap!

This tv stand is great! It was a little too heavy for me to carry but luckily I had some help. It was easy to follow the directions and assemble by myself (although I do recommend having at least another person to help). It took me an hour and a half to assemble myself. But I love the look of this tv stand! It makes my living room feel more modern. It's the perfect size for my 32" tv and wifi router. It's also the perfect height to view from my sofa.
