A few notes for those who are interested... the box is not as deep as the Hallmark box (just FYI), although I think it will still hold quite a few more cards than those provided. I think the box is cute (not sophisticated, but cute, just as pictured). I have no problems with the cards. They were a better value than dollar store cards here and at least as good (some better). The price I paid for the set was much less and a dollar a card. One exception is the stacked present boxes card (please check the picture in the description submitted by the seller). That one does not lie flat. I have it weighted down at the moment, and, hopefully, that will help. I don't think I can use an adhesive or tape, as the plastic has glitter under it.
I have purchased fancier cards at Costco, certainly, but the problem there is that soon all of us are just sending each other the same Costco cards.
Now, there are more blank cards, but I'm OK with that, I'll just write a personal note inside.
I don't mind the sleeves being unlabeled, as I remove the cards from the sleeves when I file them. I'm the only one who takes them from the box, so I don't fuss with the sleeves.
I checked each card; none is printed upside down. There are some that have envelopes larger than the cards. The problem there seems to be that the company provides standard size envelope for the cards, even the smaller cards. Might be easier for mailing and for manufacturing. I wish the cards were a bit larger to fit those envelopes, or that their envelopes were a bit shorter, to better fit those cards but it is not a huge problem for me (except for a sympathy card... sending that card in an oversized envelope would be in bast taste, in my opinion.. For a couple of them I may not even use the oversized envelope; I may just slide the card under the ribbon on a package or staple it to a gift basket.
Interestingly, one smaller birthday does come with an envelope that fits it, so I know the manufacturer could have done that with the other smaller cards.
I would describe the cards as more "cutesy"... With two exceptions, I don't think they are cards you would expect an office to send, or even a man to send. I'm glad to have some birthday cards in the set that I can use for children, and some I can give to my friends who are women.
There are only 4 dividers, not including the one printed as a card planner. That doesn't bother me, as I plan on combining several such card sets that I have ordered. One box may be dedicated to get well cards, thinking of you cards, and blank cards, for example. Another may be birthday cards adult, and birthday cards, teen, and birthday cards young child, as well as thank you cards. Another may have wedding, new baby, congratulations for a new job,. One will have cards for various holidays. I haven't decided which box will get the sympathy cards yet.
It's certainly worth what I paid.
