U pick up the razor and it kinda says hello, it lights up, it woulda been kinda campy if it did, but showing the power level and showing u it's ready to goto work is pretty useful and cool....
great shaver, speed, faster, slower, three positions, power cable plugs into the machine itself too, so u can travel very easily with this machine, the cleaner is pretty good, it leaves the machine, perfectly clean. Cleaning the machine is also easy manually, just pop the top with the blades and rinse.
Quiet machine, nobody bitches that the machine is doing its thing, big plus, also doesn't drown out the radio or whatever ur listening to in the morning...
the shave.... it takes about a week for the skin to get used to ithe new blades, the main cutter now has a z pattern, but it works just as nice as the old cutters, but it seams to grab more stuble, and more hair in each revolution, so in effect the machine is a little faster than the old one, messing around with the speed of the blades also helps depending on your skin, so great idea norelco...
the batteries are great, they won't die because u charged them mid charge or anything.... but to capitalize on the batteries design, remember, u can make this machine last a few years by giving it full charge and discharge cycles, given that the display will show accurate percentage read out, u can time this very easily. If u were to charge the machine every day and u don't care, then the machine will last u roughly a year to two years max, ur going through the chemicals too quickly, but with full discharge and charge cycles u can get 4 to 5 years, and since it's such a cool machine, i think it's worth it....

Good shaver / Black Mold grows inside shaver
I do use this shaver daily. What I like about it is the close shave and the ability to use in the shower wet. I have used this shaver over the last three years and never dropped it once. Well yesterday I dropped the shaver and the back popped off. I took a photo so people could see the gooey black mold that was growing inside my shaver over all these years. I’m guessing but probably sure this was leaking out and getting on my hands at some point. I find this to be disgusting and a major product flaw for a shaver that is to be used wet. While I love the shaver I do not like this flaw in sealing the shaver.I liked the cleaning apparatus and used that after every shave. I felt it kept the blades clean and removed the typical hard water deposit from it. I was not impressed at the cost or the availability of replacement blades. It almost is the same as a new razor.
