I've purchased this product a few times and I still think it's a quality product at a great value point. I would suggest maybe making the bottle smaller at the same 5lb weight as it seems like a huge waste of plastic when the top half is just filled with air.

I've purchased this product a few times and I still think it's a quality product at a great value point. I would suggest maybe making the bottle smaller at the same 5lb weight as it seems like a huge waste of plastic when the top half is just filled with air.
1). Excellent Price;
2). No Issues With Taste
3). Clean pertaining to heavy metals issue;
4). Fantastic amount of protein per serving;
5) Low in calories;
6). Blendable;
7). Non-chalky texture
I love this protein powder for all of the above reasons. I purchased the neutral one to give it a try and the price was definitely in my budget compared to all the other fancy-pansy protein powders on the market laden with who knows what (as far as heavy metals are concerned).
I blended it with just water, 1/2 tbsp of Stevia and 1/2 tbsp pure unsweetened cocoa powder. It mixed smoothly. No, it doesn’t taste like your fat prominent, sugar-filled diabetic inducing McDonald’s milkshake, but there is absolutely nothing discerning about the taste of this clean, neutral-tasting product. It is also the type of product to which one can add fruit or anything desired, and it will take on the taste of the added products (which is a plus!); this is because, despite other questionable reviews, this does NOT taste like peas or vegetables of any kind. At worst, it simply tastes like nothing. Thus, you can make it take on ANY taste desired by adding whatever you wish- or not.
My opinion only: Perhaps this protein powder is not for the sugar spoiled pallets of the world- or even those not totally dedicated to good, clean health. But for me, this is a perfect product (which hopefully will not be altered for picky tongues), which I will continue to purchase.
Thank you!
1. high protein content for the serving amount 2. easy to drink fast 3. relatively inexpensive 4. low sodium and fat, no sat fat 5. low in sugar 6. low carbohydrates.
I have to say though I did validate what others have mentioned in their reviews. 1. The taste is not that great (I'll comment more later on this) 2. Something weirdly magnetic in the pea. I put a magnet to it and found some particles fly off the little scooper. Not alot, buut some particles whizzed by sticking to the ceramic manet and I am baffled on what it was but maybe, lots of iron in the powder? hmmm, but onto # 3. validated that there are discrepancies in the product information. The iron per server I see on the label on what I purchased states that there is 2.84mg /serving. However in all the pictures online its 7mg!. Probably not an issue for most but I have to watch my blood iron levels.
I would actually rate this product a 5 and give 5 stars for ingredient quality if it were not for the discrepancy in the iron amount and I don't know if this gmo or not. It doesn't taste that great butI think that this protein powder is far superior than most. I have tried countless protein powder drinks, meal drink supplements (ie muscle milk), meal drink replacements such as ample, ambronite, soylent etc., and the positives for this protein powder is that it seems much more efficient and a more clean protein that does not upset my stomach. It may be missing some nutrients, and what not, but the amount of protein to only 30g of powder is awesome. I was drinking protein drinks that were 3-4x the amount of powder for the same amount of protein Naked Pea provides. The taste is not that much of an issue because I just mix it with 12 ounces of water in a shaker and throw it back. DONE! with 12 ounces of water, it seems blended fine after shaking it in a shaker vigorously for 20-30 seconds. The fact that it will remain close to the viscosity of water, downing it is not a problem whatsoever. Probably not what people are looking for as they would most likely want a protein drink that they can drink slowly and savor, but I am all about efficiency. High in protein and low in sodium, fat, sugar, carbs. etc.. I do wish it was made in the US of A, and if i find that it is GMO i'll look for a different manufacturer. But for now I'm satisfied and happy with the purchase. I'll update in a couple of weeks.

I emailed sales@nakednutrition.com, to ask when the Canadian online store would be up and running and what was the name of the company that tests their products. According to Jeffrey A. Quinones, Naked Nutrition uses Eurofins Scientific, located in the USA, for their third-party testing and unfortunately, they do not have any updates as to when their Canadian online store will be running. This perturbed me because Naked Nutrition offers a 20% discount if you sign up and give them your mobile number but then cannot honour it because they have no Canadian online store. They should not be offering discounts until they can honour them.
The yellow pea protein powder is an isolate that is completely free of additives, artificial sweeteners, thickeners, emulsifiers, etc., it’s just yellow pea protein powder. More important, is how it is processed. Naked ensures no contamination occurs from chemical detergents, synthetic additives, or heavy metals. It has great posted lab results if you are concerned with heavy metals in the product; the Arsenic is 20 times lower than the limits set by the AHPA. I guess peas aren’t subject to too much heavy metal absorption. Keep in mind heavy metals are in everything we eat.
So, the true question is would I buy it again? I definitely think so I like the fact that there is no other crap in it and that it is simply one ingredient, yellow pea protein. It has all but one of the essential amino acids; by adding hemp you complete the essential amino acid profile.

Good protein balance and nutritional value, but horrible taste. It’s a shame.
