Got this for my 2011 Hyundai sonata because we have a maxi cosi pria 70 in the jeep and I didn’t want to drop another $275 on a car seat that doesn’t get used as much. I was concerned it wouldn’t fit because other reviewers mentioned how big it is but I went with it because of the flash deal that was going on at the time. It definitely is large but I had no problem fitting in behind my drivers seat. It’s very spacious and my daughter seems content in it! The model number was NOT part of the graco recall and the box said it was just manufactured this summer. I love the color and it was easy to install. It doesn’t move much once you have it installed correctly but I did have to fold up a towel for the seat since my back seats are very angled. I included a picture of my drivers seat pushed back as far as would be necessary for my husband to drive. He’s about 5’9” and you can see there is still space between the car seat and back of the drivers seat. Per the manual it is approved for aircraft use and there is a sticker on it that says so as well. That was another reason I got this because it’s not very heavy and could be good for flying, but it is wide, so I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there! I am pleased with this purchase.

This is a HUGE carseat, it's only drawback so far. It's bulky and while it fits behind the driver's seat, the driver must sit in a cramped position. If it's moved to the other side, it works out better; however, it's SO big that it's impossible to see past when using the rearview mirror. Despite that, we love this carseat! It's super comfy, my baby doesn't cry or fuss when riding and often falls asleep. His little head doesn't flop forward and his neck doesn't look like it's about to break like literally every other carseat I have ever owned. It's well padded and I can tell there's plenty of room for him to grow and be comfortable. Another plus is the ease of installing. It's so simple and stress free. I read on another review that the seatbelt strap (in your car) wouldn't tighten down and lock the carseat in place if it was pulled UP after being pushed through the bottom seatbelt opening but if the seatbelt strap was pulled straight out (horizontal) then the belt would tighten down and lock the carseat into a very tight, secure place. My husband tried to install it the first time and was getting so frustrated because no matter what he did, the carseat was loose and flopping all around. I then remembered what I'd read, we did it, and VIOLA! Perfect secure fit! I am glad I picked it, after reading thousands of carseat reviews. I spent about 3 months trying to decide and based on the overwhelmingly good reviews and price range of this one, it was a winner for us. Who wants to pay over $300 for a carseat when you can pay just over $100 and get this great quality carseat?

I purchased this car seat after my son had grown out of his graco snugride 35. My first impression is that it seems to be well made and comfortable. The cup holders are a nice touch, as I can leave him a snack and a drink while I drive which distracts him (he hates to be in the car). Installation is simple, although it can be a little difficult to tighten down without having someone lean heavily on the car seat while you tighten. It can also be difficult to loosen the anchor straps, although that isnt necessarily a bad thing. All in all I think this was a good purchase.

This has a high standard of side and front impact crashes plus has added padding to help the straps fit perfectly and comfortable on the child’s chest. The color is rich and bright. I am pretty happy with this seat. So much so, that we purchased another one for our other vehicle. We have three cars, so buying three of the expensive brand seats was really out of the question. I don’t want to jeopardize our child’s safety though, so there was much care, consideration, and research put into purchasing a seat. This one was good for the price, safety ratings, and real life reviews that others had left where the seat - when put to the test - successfully saved their precious cargo.
We received it and I installed it in my Hyundai Tucson. It is a big seat, but it fit well. With all of my learning hurdles, it took about 15 minutes to completely install (although with a crying baby in a chest carrier it felt like much, much more.)

Lesson #1: Adjusting the straps at first was a little challenging, and I had to do it twice because I messed up the first time. Read the book - it’s all in there, I just thought I could figure it out. In short, you have to put the harness connector in the back on the shorter strap pocket, otherwise, it won’t tighten enough for a little one.

Lesson #2: The latch system was a little different too and I installed the seat on the drivers side and didn’t realize that it only tightens on one side until I had to crawl into the car (baby in the baby carrier) to latch the other side... then had to crawl back out and loosen the drivers side connection, repeat and repeat.

Lesson #3: Make sure that you push down on both sides of the seat in rear facing position before you assume it’s tight. Because the latch only tightens on one side, slack was held up on the other and I would have missed it if I didn’t push on the left hand side of the seat (practically sat on it myself). Once tightened, the seat doesn’t move a speck.

Overall, for the price, none of this is really concerning. The seat may honestly never come out of my car for the next 4 years, so I am not worried about the latch adjustments, and now that I know how the straps adjust, it is really simple.

I would not recommend the head insert it comes with for an infant. There isn’t much head support. For my almost 7 month old, I believe there’s enough (although I did question it enough that I researched it more once I say how little side to side support there is.) I do like how open the top of the seat is. My little one likes to sleep with her arms up and there’s definitely enough space for her to comfortablly sprawl out in this seat. She hated the confinement of the infant carrier. She doesn’t bat an eye at this one. There’s so much room (even though she’s strapped in tight) that she can move her arms and legs around. She’ll have plenty of space as she gets older.

This is the second MyRide 65 out of three that we have purchased. Easy to set up, this seat fits comfortably in the backseat of a VW Touareg (with a booster and a second MyRide 65 also properly installed!)

The newer fabrics that Graco is using (as opposed to the outdated plush type fabric our first MyRide 65 came in) seem significantly more comfortable and easy to clean, but the teal insert does show spots a little more than I would like.

The cupholders are great for independent toddlers and preschoolers, a huge help during longer trips. It's one of those features you wouldn't think you'd notice, but you definitely do when stuck with a carseat without them!

The straps are easy to adjust, and the seat is easy to install. It's a little bulky and heavy, but sturdy and my kids seem very comfortable, from newborn, right up to age 5 (and hopefully beyond!)
