I have first off always been a supporter of what works scientifically, as a neuroscience major, I hold scientific papers in high esteem as what is proven to work.Before I started taking Legion Pulse PWO, I had done my research on what is effective. Caffeine seems to be the first ingredient added to any PWO to give the energy to last through the workout; Creatine adds water weight to your muscle and also increases power output in weightlifting.And so 2 months back I bought caffeine pills 200 mg each and Creatine, taken at 5 g doses. It did wonders to my lifting as I was not tired or fatigued like I always am before the supplements, I would usually yawn multiple times during my workout before I started taking these supplements and after I started taking caffeine and Creatine, this went away.Then I thought wow, maybe if I take more supplements, I can work out more effectively. After doing heavy research, I saw some other supplements: beta alanine and citruline malate. Instead of trying to just buy all these products in bulk, I decided to look for a PWO which included all of these in clinical doses.Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I found out about Legion Pulse and I absolutely loved the philosophy of it being completely open about the ingredients that were in it, there were some supplements I did not recognize on it but I was like hey, let’s try it out.So initially I only took 1 scoop and I absolutely felt no difference in energy level, power output, etc. I suspect since I took 200 mg caffeine pills before I had started taking pulse PWO and now its 175 mg in the PWO, there was no energy change assuming caffeine is the main actor. The next day I took 2 scoops and I felt that there was some difference but it was very slight, but this time I was getting 350 mg of caffeine, much more than the 200 mg caffeine pill that I used to take.Now I don’t know if any of these extra chemicals are doing anything to me and I suspect the only reason for the slight difference was because of the increased caffeine.Now these extra supplements are scientifically validated in clinical trials so I won't dismiss them as not being effective because it sounds ignorant in light of the evidence that is present for these substances.Mike, if you can please explain why this is happening and if I can do anything to make your product work more effectively for me. If not, then I want a refund because I am not satisfied.As a side note: regardless of the number of scoops I add to my glass of water, when I try to mix it, there is always some stuff that doesn’t dissolve which sinks to the bottom, I assumed that the water was fully saturated, after drinking the PWO, I would add more water to try and dissolve it but it just would not dissolve, then I tried just dumping that water and then adding more water three or four more times but it still does not dissolve, is there some stuff that just is not supposed to dissolve?Updated***********************************First off I love the fact that Mike actually answers back about his product and he can provide suggestions on why things are not working.I did not like this product initially because it didn’t give me any improvement in the gym. Now I know these supplements are very well tested so I thought either Mike was putting fairy dust in his PWO and calling it science or I was doing something wrong.Turns out it was an error on my part, I would put it in a glass and mix it with a spoon, I then just added it to my blender bottle and let it do the shaking and this seemed to work so if anyone is having problems with effectiveness, I recommend you try this method.I won’t give it 5 stars though because there were still undissolved particles on the bottom and I don’t know if they are part of the dosage or just filler. Plus the powder is starting to clump now, Mike can you comment about both of these issues. Other than that, amazing product, don’t ever change the philosophy of transparency. That makes the company!
