I'm leaving this review to compare the SainSonic SSZ-200DLB with the Ultra-Clear HD DLP LINK 3D Glasses. I'm using them with an Acer H5380BD Projector on a 115" diagonal screen. They both work great! Below I will list, what I think, are some pros and cons of each. I needed three pairs so I thought it would be good to try two different brands. I read good reviews on both and what I read was accurate.

Ultra-Clear HD DLP LINK 3D
Pros:
Good image and color
Fit very well
Charged up very quickly
They sync automatically
Have a nice rubberized finish

Cons:
Make the image sightly darker than Sainsonic
USB port cover is tricky to open

SainSonic SSZ-200DLB
Pros:
Very good image and colors
Lightweight

Cons:
Need to swap left and right syncing
They are a little long and may stick out behind your head and move when you lean your head back in your seat

They are both nice glasses, the 3D is great on both. I personally like the rubberized finish on the Ultra-Clears. Plus the fact that they sync automatically, even when you leave the room then come back. The SainSonics don't darken the image as much but also don't sync automatically, which may be an issue for children or technically challenged. Its easy to swap left for right, one quick button press, only that some viewers may not spot the difference. The field of view on the SainSonics is slightly larger than the UCs, but its the difference between seeing four feet on either side of the screen vs eight feet on either side. None of my screen gets cut off with either pair. I have not had them long enough to see which one holds a charge longer but I don't foresee that as being a problem if I just keep them charged on a regular basis. And its recommended to charge them between long periods of storage.

I'm watching content on a PS3 for 3D Blu-Rays and Netflix. If you have Netflix, watch "Art of Flight", a good film in 2D made even more immersive in 3D. Also, my cable company offers a handful of 3D movies on HBO On-Demand.

For children and guests I recommend Ultra-Clear as they are smaller and simpler to use. If, on the other hand, your projector isn't super bright, I'd go with The SainSonics.

Received these yesterday and used them to play Doom 3 BFG edition on PS3 in 3D mode, and also to watch Minions 3D, all w/the BenQ W1070 on 140" screen in dark room.

As far as the 3D clarity for both, it was great! Watching Minions, the 3D effect was really just as good as any IMAX. Colors were vibrant, crisp and very clear. My wife was amazed, thinking the 3D would be just okay, especially after having just watched The Jungle Book in IMAX at the theater...again, we thought it just it was just as good as that and also the Minions IMAX ride at Universal. Doom was also great in 3D. Of course this is also attributed to the quality of the movie itself, projector and screen quality. Those all being top notch, these glasses provided the key end medium for a great 3D experience.

As far as the glasses, they definitely work awesome and for $25 a pop, you can't go wrong. The only two downsides are they are a tiny bit heavy, but it's really not an issue given most people don't watch 3D all day every day. What is an issue for me is the previously noted small but very annoying USB covers that have to be pried off because there's no little tab...this one little mod in the manufacturing process would go a LONG way, especially for someone like me w/no fingernails. I won't knock down stars for it though, because it's pretty common and doesn't affect overall quality or operation.

Not really issues w/the glasses themselves (until when and if I do decide it is): they did lose sync w/Minions a few times...this could be an issue w/the projector and screen though; I'm not too worried about it. Playing Doom and w/the scene rapidly moving at all times as is the case w/any FPS, it blurs out and isn't a smooth movement. Definitely takes some getting used to. Again, not an issue w/the glasses, but I think the active technology itself...just an observation that warrants not playing these games for hours on end unless you possibly like feeling like you have a hangover (Lol).

All in all, very happy w/these glasses and excited to watch more movies and play games w/these!

I never write reviews after items, but the customer service for this order was so good that I feel that I had to let people know that these glasses are worth the buy knowing that you will be taken care of if something goes wrong.

I ordered two glasses - the first pair worked flawlessly and sold me on the product. The second pair seemed faulty, so I contacted the seller. He then walked me through multiple troubleshooting steps and reassured me that I would have a working product whether the troubleshooting worked or not. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting only fixed the red and blue streaking and not the battery issue, but the patience and helpfulness of the seller really felt above and beyond 99% of sellers on Amazon.

The glasses (at least the functioning pair) are incredible and work flawlessly with my projector. I have watched a few movies and played a few games in 3D, and it makes me wish 3D had caught on more domestically. When you factor in the customer service, this is a must buy!

Maybe it is just that dlp projectors are better at 3d but these put out the best and cleanest 3d I have seen. I also have a Samsung 3d plasma and a 4k 3d Panasonic and neither is nearly as good. These glasses are also more comfortable, brighter running, and reconnect the sync much better if you leave the room than the other two setups.
Don't be fooled by the creepy looking box, the glasses are built as well and perform as well as any brand. I will be keeping the creepy boxes BTW since they are surprisingly nice and convenient storage cases for the glasses. They also come with a soft cloth storage bag and glasses cleaner cloth, also both staying in box with glasses.
