    Absolutely Gorgeous Model
What does a retired Aerospace Machinist with too much time on his hands do?Absolutely beautiful model. The only problem that I really have is that the nose cone is not ready for prime time! I ended up getting a different nose cone for flight, as I knew that this one would be destroyed on the first flight, which turned out to be a whole another issue altogether. The tube used for this model is odd, bigger than a 2 inch. So a 2-inch nose cone would slide right down the tube. Ended up needing to build the circumference and a lip for the flight cone.I am setting up the flight nose cone for a separate descent on its own nine inch parachute, giving the kids 2 targets to recover.Other than those two issues, I absolutely love it...I am thinking about getting a 1/35th model. Boyce, aerospace hobbies Mercury Redstone nose cone which looks sturdier and mainly, it is replaceable. But it also fits a BT 2.0, so build-up would be required also.Anyways, I Love It!!!
