Evans High Performance Engine Coolant

No Boil-Over

Evans Waterless Coolants have a boiling point of 375°F, well above the boiling point of other engine coolants. This eliminates the vapor barrier that can cause hot spots and pre-ignition in engines with water based coolants. Evans Waterless Coolant ensures that the coolant remains in a liquid state and in constant contact with your internal engine components for consistently effective cooling.

Corrosion and Electrolysis Protection

Water is very corrosive and a good conductor of electricity. By eliminating water in your cooling system. Evans Waterless Coolants virtually eliminates corrosion and electrolysis when compared to water-based antifreeze.

Reduced Vapor Pressure

With heat water generates steam in you cooling system, causing high vapor pressure that exerts internal stress on cooling system components. With Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant, this pressure is dramatically reduced, extending the cooling system's operating life and preventing breakdowns.

Product Description

Evans High Performance Waterless Engine Coolant, EC53001, is specifically designed for all modern, classic, and vintage gasoline engines, light duty diesels, LP and CNG vehicles. Evans High Performance Coolant (HPC) defends against boil-over and corrosion while allowing the engine to continue producing its peak horsepower. When converting an engine from a water-based coolant to HPC, great care should be given during the installation (conversion) process to ensure that all of the old water-based coolant and water is removed before installing HPC. It is recommended that the system be flushed with Evans Prep Fluid prior to installing HPC When the installation is complete, the water content of the coolant should be no more than 3 percent for optimum performance. Evans HPC coolant contains a bittering agent/bitterant. Evans coolant is proudly made in the USA.

18 customers mention16 positive2 negative

Customers like the hydraulic pressure of the electronic component fan. They say it runs at incredibly low pressure, which means there's no buildup of pressure on hoses or head gaskets. It also has low vapor pressure, reducing boil over and hose and seal wear. Customers also appreciate the fact that it doesn't need a pressurized system.

"...Best part of this product is no pressure on hoses or radiator or head gasket boils at a fairly high temperature...." Read more

"...Less system pressure, longer component life like hoses and heater cores. Well worth the investment no matter how you look at it...." Read more

"...I love that this doesn't build up pressure like regular coolant does and I don't have to worry about boiling over...." Read more

"...(thus no pressure on hoses or head gaskets unlike 50/50 mix due to the low boiling point..." Read more

11 customers mention11 positive0 negative

Customers are satisfied with the electronic component fan's corrosion resistance. They mention that it lasts 20+ years, has no oxidation, and does not rust.

"A 375 degree boiling point, no corrosion due to the presence of water, no vaporization of coolant in contact with cylinder walls due to hot spots..." Read more

"...But it lasts 20+ years, no oxidation so really its probably cheaper. If your having heating problems its a good place to start, then Flexfan." Read more

"...The benefits of the product is: no corrosion, no boiling point until 360F..." Read more

"...head and especially like the idea of not using water and not having corrosion issues down the road...." Read more

10 customers mention10 positive0 negative

If you have an engine that tends to overheat Evans coolant is a great replacement

If you have an engine that tends to overheat Evans coolant is a great replacement
As you can see from the pictures I have a 52 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster. These cars tend to overheat in warm weather, with the Evans waterless coolant which has a boiling point 375° and won't freeze down to 40° below zero. It is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone that has a problem with overheating.
