Love the storage at the head of the bed.It's a but difficult to put together, in retrospect I should have paid the extra fee for the professionals to do it.It is a lot higher than I anticipated, which I am OK with but I watch my daughter like a hawk to make sure she doesn't slip or fall off.The only down side is that my mattress is always slipping around on the smooth wood slats.Edit: after seven months, it has to be put out to the garbage. The wooden slats that hold the mattress broke at the head of the bed. The mattress is now going under the headboard. Unable to use and not worth the fix. Very disappointed at this for how much was spent.

We have had this frame for a little while, and while it looks very pretty and I love the large drawers, we have had to replace the cross-boards holding up our mattress with more substantial wood and better screws. You can't expect 5-1x2 boards to hold up a mattress, 2 full grown adults, 4 cats, a dog and the occasional midnight child crawling in! We replaced them with some 1x8's and your basic drywall screw (because the screws that came with for that portion kept working their way out) and now our bed does not creak or crack ominously every time we roll over in bed.
My other complaint with this frame is that the drawers only open halfway, and I like to be able to pull the drawer out to full extension to see what's in there. But on the bright side, the cats have claimed one of the side deep drawers and it holds all 4 of them, plus protects them from the extreme version of love my children give them :)

This bed is awesome! It arrived in perfect condition, without a scratch. It's a bit taller than I expected from the photos, but that's what I get for not using a measuring tape to feel out the area. All in all the assembly was not too bad, a friend and I were able to put it together in about 4.5 hours. There is tons of storage, although the drawers on the footboard are fairly shallow. I'm giving 5 out of 5 because it's of good construction, it arrived in perfect shape, I was able to assemble it in less than 5 hours, and it works perfectly in my home! Highly recommend this bed frame to anyone looking for something with storage capacity.

I was quite happy over all with the bed. Although we have only just set it up and spent 1 night sleeping on it, it seems sturdy. The color was perfect and matched our dressers. The set-up was frustrating for my husband. The directions are not the best, so be prepared for some guessing and searching through the boxes for bits and pieces needed. Took him about 3 1/2 hours to put it together. There was some damage to the bed, but not enough to go through the hassle of boxing it up and returning it. The drawers are difficult to slide on the first time, once they are in place they slide in and out okay. The one drawer does not go in all the way (with my husbands ocd that is driving him crazy), but does not stick out enough that you really notice unless you are looking for it. For the money and the quality, it was a good purchase.

Originally in the box there were 5 slats and 5 legs that went down the middle. When we went to bed the first night the bed made awful creaking noises and at times sounds like wood splintering. We bought an extra 5 slats and added like 10 more legs to make it feel sturdy enough. Now there is no more noise!!

I loved the look of this bed. Upon arrival I assembled it myself (2.5 hrs.) pretty difficult and very heavy. The biggest complaint I have is the cheaply made drawer guides. The guide is plastic, which broke on two side drawers. There are also SO MANY screws that come loose with use and need tightened monthly. If you do not, any slight movement on the bed makes it sound like a raucous sex party is happening. Woke up the downstairs neighbor once due to creaky squeaky bed. Makes for uncomfortable discussions with guests staying over too. Finally, this bed is tall. Very tall. perfect for me, but a dog hurt his leg jumping off and I feared for my little children who would sometime fall asleep up there.
