These seed packs really delivered. I live in Lansing, Michigan. I got these seeds in March and planted them in the beginning of April. We had a wet April and you know what they say about April showers. I kept the soil moist and sprayed some organic fish fertilizer on the plants after they got settled in. Only did it twice. I didn't follow the instructions with how they wanted you to spread the seeds. All I did was take a couple of pinches from each bag and I sprinkled the seeds as I would sprinkle salt when cooking. I did this evenly over a few small flower beds we have in the front of our house. I didn't put very much effort in at all. I made sure the soil was weeded prior to putting the seeds down. I didn't bury them or anything. I just sprinkled them straight on the soil. I don't know the names of any of the flowers so I can only go by description. What i love most about these seeds is the variety you get. Not only that, but the flowers all bloom at slightly different times. At first, you start getting these deep violet flowers and these light purple flowers. Both are unique. Then you start getting these very vibrant yellow flowers, which are then followed by an assortment of patterned red and pink flowers. There are a couple of other flowers mixed in even. Every day I wake up excited to see what flower I am gonna see next! All these varieties really put on a show too. They all bloom a lot of flowers per plant. Another thing is that they seem to all be of similar heights so they don't really choke each other out. The beds I have are small and I spread the seeds pretty thick. I don't see any dead leaves or plants or anything. I don't know if that is because I fertilized or not. I never though I'd feel so happy seeing a bunch of dumb flowers but I really get a kick out of looking at them. My neighbors must think I'm crazy just kneeling in the grass staring at them. One thing I did notice, one of the beds at my house (which is a rental so I'm not gonna put any money into changing soils) is mostly clay. I figured what the hell and threw the seeds on there. The clay soil did grow flowers but it seemed like only one variety of flower was hearty enough to grow in that type of soil. The deep indigo flowers. There are a few other stunted plants growing in there but they didn't flower. I also seeded a side of the house that only got a couple hours of sunlight a day. These plants did grow bigger than the seeds grown in clay, but they did not flower half as much as the plants that were grown in better conditions. Just make sure the plants get at least a half days worth of direct sunlight and probably doesn't hurt to fertilize with some organic fertilizer a couple of times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful summer wildflower garden
Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2019
These were wonderful! I live in Brooklyn. On May 1, I sprinkled three handfuls onto a compost-enriched 5’x2’ bed in the ground. I patted them lightly into the soil, and kept them moist. I fertilized every 2 weeks with fish extract.
They sprouted almost immediately, and in two weeks I had many small white flowers, and some light blue ones. Every week new colors and shapes would pop up, and I loved just sitting on my stoop and enjoying all the new growth.
By July 1 (first two pics) I had a great variety of colors, shapes and sizes! The bees loved them!
On August 1 (last two pics) many plants were 3-4 ft tall, and a couple of sunflower plants were 5 ft tall.
I even planted a few in indoor pots on my windowsill and they are still blooming almost a year later!
I highly recommend this product. Thanks!
