I bought this squeegee to help with water droplet accumulation on a deck made of 2 x 6" lumber. Esp. after the deck was sealed, water droplets would stay on the boards for a prolonged period of time. Plus some of the boards were scooped out, and held a lot of water. The Squeegee worked fine, although it tended to graph the board surface a bit too tightly, making it hard to push. I had to go cross-grain to get the water out. It worked better pulling rather than pushing. I could use it in push mode if I applied a bit of lift with my hand to the middle of the handle, as this is a moderately heavy contraption, and lighteing the weight made it useable in push mode.I have a few suggestions to the manufacturer:1) Get rid of the black plastic triangle that extends above and beyond the metal mounting plate of the squeegee holder. I don't know what the purpose of this escutcheon is (leaf catcher?) , but it has 2 bad features. (a) the points on the sides are quite sharp, to the point that one can cut oneself. (a) more importantly, this "outrigger" prevents the squeegee from easily getting under the deck railing. I solved the problem by trimming off the plastic "outrigger" flush with the border of the metal squeegee holder (see picture), and now it can go under deck railings.2) Given the curved nature of the blade, it would be easy to make the mounting plate reversible, so that one could use the squeegee in pull mode. For my deck, this is much easier than trying to push it, where it tends to scrape the boards and sort of gets stuch. It would be a simple to make the head reversible. In fact, I think it can be reversed now, although there is a 1" wide plastic tab that may prevent this. I'll need to try this.3) They have wing nuts that are tightenable by hand. This is ok for the screws that hold the foam rubber blade, but for the two screws attaching the head to the handle, a regular nut might be easier to use. The two bolds to attach the head come with some loc-tite on the threads, and one needs pliers (or strong fingers) to tighten the two head attachment wingnuts.
