There was enough room and stability for me, my daughter and my 2 dogs. I could even lay on my back and take a nap. I went with green. Very subtle especially against lake water. Really cool.
A friend of mine who is one those guys that researches everything and is tight with his money convinced me of this one over the ROC which i was ready to buy (he owns 2 of each, he and his wife have claimed the Atolls and let their teenagers have the ROCs). I was surprised given the price difference and what i was thinking was a commodity item.
His reasons for liking the Atolls more: better tracking (stays straighter), rings in the back to put more webbing, fiberglass paddle and better pump.
Here are my thoughts after taking this board to the lake this weekend where three SUP boards were represented: the extra money was worth it for the Atoll primarily for the reasons my friend mentioned. I tried all the boards and mine was the best at staying strait, the fastest and had the best buoyancy (there was one board that a friend of my was using which his feet would almost be wet while standing on it due to buoyancy and/or banana-ing.) Mine was super ridig which inspired me to let the whole family on it.
The pump and gauge work flawlessly. There are two modes: single and double pump. Use double pump to get mostly inflated then single to boost the psi. Works great.
The other folks were complaining about there paddles. Wouldn't stay at right length, got sand and wouldn't slide. I was also shocked that theirs didn't float.
I should also mention that overall quality was great. I actually use stuff so i am always looking for that sketchy looking seam or under designed breaking point. I felt really confident with the whole package (pump, foot strap, webbing, paddle, bag).
Setup and packing were easy. There are smart things like a waterproof canister for tools/ patches and a compression strap which isn't even really needed given the bag easily fits everything.
I left the lake not looking at SUP's as a commodity items but instead more like my trail shoes or my mountain bike. I would never run in keds or mountain bike on a huffy, why would I waste my money on a cheap SUP.
Get it and enjoy.

The pump is great, but it will give you a heck of a workout. I'm in pretty good shape, and it takes me about 6 minutes and that is really killing it. I did invest in a 12v air pump since I end up having to finish pumping up my wife's too. The paddle is heavier than the Peak's also, but seems pretty well built. No plans to replace it anytime soon.
When my fin was chewed off by a great white off the coast of Key West, I called Atoll and they sent me a new one free of charge. True story (mostly). Great customer service, and I really did appreciate that. So you have a board comes with great customer service, is built similar to a Nimitz Aircraft carrier, and will cause you to instantly grow a beard and be surrounded by supermodels the minute you step on it. Did I mention it has a picture of a freaking buffalo riding a paddleboard on it??

I took the plunge and made the purchase which came last week. On first impressions, its package extremely well and the quality of all the parts (board, bag, fin, pump, and paddle) is something that didn't feel cheap. One of my biggest concerns before buying the board is over pumping it and causing leak issues but after getting the board and pump, there is no way that will ever happen. The pump is designed with a gauge to ensure you don't go over the 15psi recommendation (which should be an automatic must for inflatables but doesn't with some companies). The second concern was my height as I'm 6"3' and again was surprised to see an extender built into the paddle. The last big feature I love is all the D-rings on the board. These D-ring give me all the assurance I need to have a perfect setup to fish.
In short, all of my worries about getting the RIGHT SUP were quickly put to rest with this board. Atoll has spent a considerable amount of time thinking through the best design choices for their boards and customers. While the summer isn't over, I feel very confident it won't leak. I'm extremely impressed with the quality and stability of the board and will be considering another one next year for my wife. My ONLY complaint was that these were on back order for 2-3 months (due to Covid-19 I assume) and so I had to wait to make my purchase.
