The product itself feels quite sturdy and the ceramic burrs produce a very nice, fine grind. You'll have to experiment a bit to find your perfectly granularity, but it's easy to adjust. The mill itself is larger that you might think from the pictures, but fits easily into your hand. The mill has plenty of capacity to grind as much coffee as you want, but be aware that it takes while. I usually use 6 scoops for six cups at a medium fine grind, and it takes about 3 minutes. I find it to be kind of a Zen exercise, but it's not a task for the lazy.
Simple Kitchen Products seems like a very ethical company that is marketing a quality product and is focused on keeping its customers happy. I hope I don't sound like a shill, but when I like a product, I'm glad to help out stand out.

I've owned a fair share of grinders in my time, and this? This is by far, hands down, the worst grinder I've ever used.
The design is based off the Hario Skerton and Kyocera CM-50, grinders with somewhat of a cult following in their own right. There are minor differences, which on paper should make this grinder superior., but it just isn't. The feed hopper and the crank are both larger, which in theory means you can grind more coffee, and do so easier. Also included is an installed 'stabilizing washer', which is a popular aftermarket upgrade for the Hario, as it leads to a more consistent grind.
This thing should be a great grinder. the problem? the burrs are so poorly made that I just could not get a consistent grind out of it. I've included photos, which were the best of 3 grinds. Sifting the grounds out revealed grounds course enough for french press, fine enough for Turkish coffee, and a pile of perfectly ground pour over. All from a single grind. I tried multiple adjustments, and the photos included were the best I could get, so depending on what type of coffee you are making well over 50% of what you grind could end up as trash. and coffee is way to expensive for that. I wish the manufacturer would put quality ceramic burrs on this thing, because that is really all it needs to be a real winner.
