Clearly, a lot of attention to detail went into making these bags as healthy and as eco-friendly as possible. They also happen to be great bags. Very sturdy, easy to use, and easy to rinse out after each use.
I use mine almost exclusively for squeezing the last two ounces of juice from the pulp left behind after juicing a bunch of celery. It does an excellent job. I used my first bag almost daily from March through November, putting great strain on the bag and its seams. Eventually, after many months of use, the bag gave way and split near the seam... but the seam itself held! Very few bags, if any, could have handled the intense, daily strain I put on this bag and its seams, as I was determined to get every last drop out of the pulp.
I was momentarily disappointed when the fabric itself eventually gave out, but I quickly realized I had certainly gotten more than my money's worth out of it, as it was more than any other bag could have likely delivered given my intensity and consistency of use. Also, there are likely various constituents in the celery juice itself that may have contributed to wearing out the cotton fibers.
In any event, I wrote to the company and asked how long they thought the bags should last and explained that mine had given way. They were kind enough, even after all that time had passed, to send me another bag at no charge, which leads me to why I am leaving this review. Not only have they created a fantastic product that I use almost every day, but there are also fantastic people behind the company that want to make sure their customers are satisfied. I will certainly purchase my own from this point forward, because I know it'll be normal for the wear and tear I put them through.
Given the price of organic celery ($3.00 a bunch), and knowing that I extract an additional 2oz. of juice every time I use it, it saves me over $125/year in juice that would have otherwise been wasted without the bag. And so, it has been a very good investment that has paid for itself many times over and it always feels good to buy from a company that cares about the earth, provides high-quality products, and delivers outstanding customer service.

Excellent quality with impressive results!
This is my first experience using a nut bag. I purchased it for almond milk, hoping I would like it better than commercial brands for hot cocoa. However, I didn’t have almonds on hand when the bag arrived, so I decided to try filtering cocoa powder for tea. I am so impressed with the results, that I don’t even miss milk based hot cocoa. This bag filters so well, it actually removes much of the bitter flavor of the cocoa, and I didn’t even need sweetener. The tiny amount of settling disappears with the last sip, leaving no gritty residue in your mouth or in the cup.After a few attempts, this is now my favorite method: Place 1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder into the bottom of the nut bag. Position nut bag over 1-qt measuring cup. Fill with warm distilled water, allowing some of the bag to submerge. Stir the cocoa water inside the bag periodically until dissolved. Lift out bag and wring out excess water. Rinse and wash bag under kitchen faucet, then line dry. This is a bit of a ritual, but if you love chocolate as much as I do, the results and the pleasure are worth it. I love this bag, and I look forward to my morning brew. The photos that accompany my review show my brewing/filtering setup; the cup of rich satisfying cocoa; and the tiny amount of non-gritty residue at the bottom of the cup. This was an excellent purchase and I love the philosophy that prompted the invention of this particular filtering bag.

Alright! So I juice. I’m trying to switch over to a healthy lifestyle in order to reverse my type 2 Diabetes and PCOS. Thus, I have been doing a lot of research on organics and GMO’s as well as lifestyle changes. With one of those cane regular juicing and celery juice on empty stomach. I was noticing I was buying 2 stalks or organic celery and barely yielding 10oz. I’m supposed to have 16oz a day. So I was watching some videos and saw people using but bags when they didn’t have a juicer and placed celery in the blender. I thought to myself, wonder f I can find an ALL organic but bag that would fit over the juicer pulp container to catch the pulp so I can extract it once again. I wasn’t sure about the size of this bag but read on the owner and company and while I could have went with bags half the cost they were not purely organic. I support a better way of life! This bag first it was easy for a newbie like me to follow directions on cleaning and sterilizing, second it fit perfectly on my breville juicer and third, it gave me DOUBLE the juice! Seriously!! I’m addicted and I will be buying more bags. With juicing tea, the bag gets stained but I don’t care since I’m using it for this specifically. I may try nut milks. I suggest if you are going to use it to juice you buy a bag specifically for only that. Not only am I completely satisfied with its functionality but now I also know I am not sacrificing quality! Thank you!
