So we actually use these as a retrieving toy for our 1 year old yellow lab. We inadvertently found out after she freed a couple of rubber ducks this type of toy works really well for her. This one in particular is large enough she can’t swallow it. Why tug boats? Well because we own a 1940’s tug. Anyhow, if it takes the lab a couple months to chew through it, so it should be more than durable enough for a human child.

I've had these for about 2 years and they are still working pretty well. The paint still looks like new but the rubber has hardened a bit and needs to be warmed up in the bath water before it's soft enough to fill up for squirting. I squeeze them out completely after bath time and have never had an issue with mold or anything else growing inside. They've outperformed my expectations based on the low price.

Boats are a great size and cute colors but end up getting mold inside. They have a small hole which water gets in. I try to squeeze out all the water I can at the end of each bath but still can’t get every last drop. I had to throw them away after 6 months because mold was coming out when I would squeeze out the water.
