Product Description

EW30IS80RS Electrolux 30" Slide-in Induction Range with 4 Cooking Zones - Stainless Steel Explore the features of the EW30IS80RS double wall oven from Electrolux This range is loaded with convenient cooking features, and it's also loaded with cutting-edge 21st-century cooking technology. The cooktop utilizes induction heating which is when magnetic fields create friction in the cooking vessel itself. The pots and pans are the direct source of heat versus a gas-fueled flame or a hot electronic coil generating heat in the cooktop. It's a safer and faster way to cook. For consistently delicious taste and texture, the dual-fan convection oven circulates air more evenly throughout the oven for an even cook. Two variable speeds work in tandem with three heating elements - bake, broil, and roast - to give you delicious results every time. THe oven has a helpful variety of cooking mode to choose from: Bake, Broil, Convection Bake, Convection Roast, Convection Broil, Keep Warm and Slow Cook. Features Perfect Taste Dual Convection For consistently delicious taste and texture, the dual-fan convection circulates air more evenly throughout the oven for an even cook. Two variable speeds work with three heating elements (bake, broil, and roast) for delicious results every time. Multi-Stage Cooking This range features seven professionally inspired cooking modes: Bake, Broil, Convection Bake, Convection Roast, Convection Broil, Keep Warm and Slow Cook. Perfect Taste Temp Probe Not only does it measure internal temperature, the probe alerts you when food has reached the desired temperature and automatically adjusts to the Keep Warm setting so you never overcook your food and deliver perfect results every time. Self-Clean Porcelain Racks The porcelain racks are safe to stay inside of the oven during the self-clean cycle, virtually eliminating the mess and inconvenience of removing and cleaning racks by hand. Wish I could give a negative star rating. My less than for year old induction range is dead. In theory, the oven still works, but the only way to turn off the constant beeping that comes with an error message is to turn off the unit at the circuit breaker. The repair estimate is over $800 in parts, and it is out of warranty. If I decide to repair it will take several weeks to get parts because there is a big demand for replacement parts for these ranges. Customer service is awful, they repeatedly put me on hold and then disconnect. The Electrolux fridge we bought as part of the same kitchen renovation has been through two circuit boards and two ice makers. Trim pieces fall off the fridge and the freezer drawers break and jam. I paid for high end appliances and got junk. (Purchased from local store, not Amazon). Do yourself a favor and avoid Electrolux appliances. Do a web search and check out the complaints about these over-priced pieces of trash.

Disappointed in Electrolux
My Electrolux slide in Induction Range just blew this week; 2 years old. Estimate for repair is $1200+ for the part plus labor on top. I loved induction cooking and am so disappointed. I have the same opinion of other Electrolux. We bought a suite of Electrolux appliances when we remodeled in 2016. The dryer had to be repaired in the first year. We had to replace the under-counter ice-maker earlier this year, the repair was as expensive as a new ice-maker. I agree with the other reviewer - the refrigerator and freezer drawers are cheaply made. And the under-counter refrigerator drawers have a worn electrical harness that has been discontinued. I will not replace with Electrolux. (or Frigidaire; they make Electrolux)

This was the worst purchase ever! Loved the induction and way it worked, but for a $3,000+ appliance, I thought it would last many more years than 4 - just after the extended (purchased) warranty got an E-31 error. Estimated repair cost, $1,800. To heck with that!

didn't purchase from amazon but at a local dealer. bought the 5 year warranty and within five years stove failed 3 times. 5 years is up and once again the dreaded electrical burning smell of fried circuit boards and no oven! I will never buy electrolux again.

I did not purchase on Amazon, but from Lowes but if anyone buys this product beware it probably won't last more than 4 years. There is a serious design flaw that sometimes allows water to seep into the control board and short them out, the cost to repair after warranty is over $1200 with no garrantee that it will not happen again. buyer beware
