You know the product will fit into it's bag when it arrives cellophane wrapped in it's bag. That's a plus! The "tray" that holds the bottom of the poster/artwork is horizontally level, compared to the Artify 66" that tilted downward for some reason. It's lightweight and a little flimsy but will do what I need it to do for 6 hours.The Amazon box was a little overkill. 30 inches long for a 21 inch product ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

I bought this to do a paint by number for my mom for Christmas. I have a very limited space to work in, and even less storage space, so I needed something that could be stored easily, hold a large canvas, and was versatile enough to use in different locations. I'm also thrifty, and not being an "artist" I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an easel that I may not use very often. This one was everything I was looking for. Inexpensive but not cheap, very adjustable, lightweight AND portable. It is not super sturdy. It's aluminum, after all, so it doesn't work like a heavy wooden one; you will need to watch your pressure so as not to topple it over, but it holds the canvas firmly and is secure. I'm going to try adding some kind of weight to the bottom of the legs to see if I can make it a little more sturdy, but I'm very happy with it as it is.

The price is good. The easel is easy to carry with you: it's small, light and easy to set up. It serves my purpose well. I use it for holding a white board that has to be set up and taken down each day. The downsides: 1) the cross bar needs to be refastened every time with a screw driver (I put a small screw driver in the bag so it's always handy), 2) the easel isn't very rigid or strong, so it moves around a lot when I write on the white board. To counter that, I generally hold the white board still with one hand while I'm writing on it.

This easel is extremely lightweight and gets to a very small size. It truly is perfect for large and small canvases, sitting and standing, table top, everything. When we moved to our new house I had to get rid of my adjustable craft/draft table. This is a perfect solution to my lack of storage space.The pieces are adjustable to fit almost any size canvas or paper pad. Lightweight can be a negative, as if you bump it, it is more likely to tip. It is very wobbly when you bump it when it is extended out. Another negative thing that I've noticed so far is that the height adjustment bar doesn't glide very smoothly. Which that could either get better or worse over time. Overall, I'm loving it and will definitely recommend it.

I bought 3 of these within a few days/weeks thinking they were good. Boy was I wrong. So far, I've only used 2, the 3rd remains in the box. The zippers on both carrying bags broke within the first day or two of use. One of the feet on one of the tripod legs fell off, and now one of the tripod legs is bent. This product seems good and strong initially, but buyer beware. Really not built very well. I need to pursue a refund.

Update: Customer service is extremely responsive. After seeing my review, I was contacted and sent replacements. When the replacements proved to have the same problems, without my asking, customer service provided a 100% refund. I changed my review from 2 stars to 5 because of the customer service responsiveness.

This easel is not very sturdy at all. It moves very easily if you are painting on it. My canvas wouldn’t even fit properly on the stand. I had to hold it down while I was painting so that it would not fall off. The back leg does not lock which causes stability issues. It might work better as a table top easel when all the legs are not fully extended, but I’ve only used it with the legs at nearly it’s fully extended height. I suppose you get what you pay for. I’m a beginner so I went with what was cheap. I would not recommend.

Very light weight, portable and adjustable. Great at standing at full length, or on table top. The adjustable height of the bottom rail is my favorite option, since I prefer to paint at eye level. It is sturdy and very adjustable. I did not like that the top hold bracket intrudes on the painting surface, but you can adjust this to clamp down on the canvas edge as an alternative — this is how I use it and it worked great. Excellent value.
