This Replaced a 15 year old Chi, so I’m a fan of the brand.Different heat settings are good for me and my tween to both get what we need out of it (I’m coarse hair hers is medium curly and more delicate).Auto turn off!Heating fully in one minute!!!Does great work! (Mixed hair, very thick, pretty curly, wasn’t even all the way dry - - I know I know: totally does the trick!10/10.Photo is hair curly (pre straightener) and post straightener.

I LOVE THIS THING. I am so flipping obsessed. It doesn't damage my hair when I use it, granted I put a little heat protectant in my hair but I constantly flip my hair out, flip it inward! It's seriously magic. I have always found it hard to curl my hair using Wands and I hate the clamp a regular curling iron leaves behind on my pin straight hair plus everything else I use seems to make the task of curling my hair take forever. I turn on my flat iron and it heats up quick, I can style my hair in literally 15-20 minutes right before work. It took me a few tries to get used to it and it was a trial and error on what curls you can create with this iron but it has proven successful. I also am in love with the fact that it has the on and off and heat buttons inside below the clamp so you don't accidentally turn it off. The only flaw I can say that comes with this is that I have read the reviews before I previously bought and they said things about the heat going back to the highest setting by itself if you try to adjust it. Unfortunately I chose to ignore those comments because I figured maybe it was occurring only in a few but they proved to right seeing as it happened the day I just got the iron and opened to box to use it. Sometimes, varying in days though, it doesn't adjust its own heat setting, I like to use a lower setting because it makes me feel like I'm not torching my hair on fire but this was the only problem I have seemed to encounter with the product. Aside from this flaw, it gets the job done.
