I waited to write a review until I had experience in a power outage. Power went out for 10 hours. Ran the house with 2 free standing AC units all night. Consumed about 7 gallons of gas. Started right up and ran smooth. Rained all night and the GenTent 10k Stormbracer kept the unit completely dry. I didn't want to have to build an enclosure. All I have to do is wheel the unit outside the garage , plug it in and start it up. Spending more money on a quality Honda generator is worth the peace of mind.

Anyone could start this and it will do most of a 2800 sq foot house! Don’t forget to buy oil and a generator cord also. I get why they don’t put it in the engine, but it should at least be in the box so you can run it immediately after getting home.

Just 19 days old..... ELECTRIC START DOES NOT WORK Never did not from day 1
Electric ignition doesn't work. I have to pull start. Honda customer service only gives service shop contact info. The shop said 3 week waiting period.
Disappointed that I have to pull start after paying $3000 for a fancy name. I HAVE TO PULL START AND OCCASIONALLY IT SPUTTERS AND IT IS NEW

Oh.... I have had regret buying this Honda generator. Before you buy any major product call and make sure you will get good tech support. HONDA DOES NOT SEND PARTS OR SELL ANYTHING DIRECTLY. THEY ONLY GIVE A SERVICE SHOP INFO. GUY AT SERVICE SHOP IN FOLSOM CALIF WAS A JERK... HE SAID 3 WEEKS WAIT IN LINE. I haven't even had this generator 3 weeks.
