Velcro grip quickly weakens after some use

Velcro grip quickly weakens after some use
This was prescribed by a foot doctor on my first visit to treat plantar fasciitis. It does a good job at restricting the angle of my foot. It's fairly lightweight and a bit bulky. At first, it would get tangled in my sheets so I practiced to keep it uncovered. The velcro strap quickly lost its grip so I had to add a stronger velcro strap in order to secure it all through the night.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don’t spend 4x more for an item that doesn’t work and you can’t return!
Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2023
I do not recommend this item as it does not work as described. It is 4x more expensive than other listings, and I thought that would mean it is more effective.
After using for 10 days, it does not keep my heel securely down at base. I wake up with my heel raised and have to push it back down. First photo shows foot in splint with weight shifted on it so heel is flat. Second photo shows weight off with heel raised at least an inch off of splint.
Item does not work as described and even though listing says returns/refunds are eligible, site now tells me returns are not accepted.
Please look at other listings before purchasing this splint!
