Easier to use than I thought and I don't feel like I would cut my baby by accident which was what I feared most. I do have small-ish hands though so it may be harder to manage it for those with bigger hands.Edit to add: We have had this for not even 9 months and today when I pinched it to start cutting the lil one's nails, the spring snapped and flew across the room. I have yet to find it. Thank goodness she is not one to put everything in her mouth but it sure can be a choking hazard! The whole thing came apart. I'm the trash it goes...

Sooo much better than my old metal nail clippers! My 15 month old is getting too squirmy and hates getting his nails clipped. My old ones were so small and slippery that I'd finally get him to stay still and then they would slip so I'd jump back to avoid getting his fingers.

These are sharp, so only one try clips the nail easily. Perfect size, and so easy to hold! No slip!!

They seem like decent quality, but honestly I'd be willing to but a new one every few weeks to keep his little hands safe. I feel so much more comfortable now!

This was the best out of several that I tried. Summer Infants with flashlight was very bulky and hard to use, Summer Infant without flashlight (part of 1st aid kit) broke after a few uses. Frida baby nail clippers makes baby's nail fray and hard to make smooth ends (makes baby's nails jagged) & the curved end makes it so you can't clip nails front all directions. This nail clipper is relatively easy to hold & use. It hasn't broken yet after a few months of use.
UPDATE:. Broke 26 months later. Still best kid nail clippers. Buying another one.

Athens clipping mechanism was smaller and more suited for tiny hands and fingers; however, I did find it quick bulky and clunky to use especially on a baby or toddler that was resisting having their nails clipped.
