Edit: I wore them all day, and I walked ALL day! I had some heel strike pain, but I massaged it and I think that was from the previous injury, but when I took the sock off at midnight( walked all day) my feet felt 100%!! Zero pain. Woke up the following day, zero pain when my feet hit the floor!! These socks are a MIRACLE. I do wish that I would have gone with a smaller size, refer to photos of where sock needs to sit.
Edit: The pain came back. I do still think the socks are helping, but I don't think it's quite the miracle I thought/hoped. I would still recommend.
I have learned that the best way to wear these is upside down. The band that's supposed to go near toes is too binding. The other way is more comfortable.
Also, I just got corefit orthotics and they seem awesome so far. Check out my review over there.

When the sleeves first arrived, I noticed that one of them had a loose thread. I didn't think anything of it and left the thing alone. Spent that whole day in my house, wearing the sleeves and doing chores. I have plantar fasciitis and severe bone spurs in my left foot, combined with a broken sesamoid bone that never had a chance to heal. It is ALWAYS in pain. My right foot has recently started to swell and become painful because I spend so much time trying to not put pressure on my left foot, which meant that my overcompensation was really doing a lot of harm. That first day I wasn't really sure if there was any result because if mostly been around the house, but I could at least say the sleeves themselves weren't uncomfortable. I have very thick ankles and was worried they'd cut off circulation, worsening the swelling but no.... They fit just fine. Snug so as not to move, but not so tight that I had a problem wearing them.
The second day I noticed that loose thread was maybe about an inch longer. I actually went out of the house for an hour or two to run some errands and came home to cook for about another hour. It was by the end of the cooking that I realized I hadn't needed to sit down and take a break from standing. There was still a pain, but not nearly as bad as normal. This is NOT a miracle cure, especially not for someone with feet as messed up as me, but it is definitely an excellent way of making sure I still support my arches while simultaneously not being forced to wear actual shoes.
Third day comes around and that loose thread has gotten completely out of control. It must have snagged inside my shoe or something on day two because it was about eight inches long. Rather than just put up with it and eventually get frustrated once the whole sleeve was just a pile of threads again, I sent an email to the company that made these.
Man. What nice people! The emails they sent were so polite and very understanding. I told them I was worried about one of my sleeves coming apart and I am so grateful that they were able to give me a replacement! Definitely a great company with excellent customer service.
As some of you may know, yesterday was the first day in the US that Pokemon go was active and mostly functional. As a result, I spent about an hour walking around my neighborhood in flats, chasing digital monsters. I did not wear the sleeves or my shoes with orthotic inserts in them....and I paid for it.
Today I did the same thing....but WITH the sleeves on. Man. What a difference! My left foot still has the same dull ache that I've grown accustomed to and my ankle is expectedly swollen....but I'm actually considering going out again right now just because I can! So this settles it.....while they may not make all the pain go away depending on your baseline, they sure as heck will help, especially while you're standing.
I highly recommend using these and working with Physix Gear.
