Sturdy Bike that fulfills its purpose
My 235 CSX Proform Recumbent Bike was delivered quickly and ahead of schedule on August 11. The package was in good condition. Nothing was missing. I had no trouble assembling the bike by myself. In short, excellent experience. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that I received a model that was not identical to the one in the photo on Amazon. It is still a 235 CSX, but it might the previous model. Note in the photos the different console, no heart monitors on the handlebar and no red color on the wheel. On the other hand, it came with a power cord that plugs at the bottom of the front wheel, as this model works only on electric power (no battery compartment). I prefer this to the battery/console electric plug options in the last model. It is nevertheless a new bike that does what I wanted it for. So, I elected to keep it and I am happy with it.

Bought this product for my parents who need more cardiovascular exercise during their Covid Stay at Home restriction. My parents are in their 70s and have been very independent and mobile. This stationary bike has helped with their overall health. They have it in their bedroom and make it a routine to use the bike 20-40 minutes every day. My mom likes that the bike is quiet enough to use while she is watching TV or while my dad is taking a nap (he’s not a light sleeper, though). My mother is only 5 ft tall and she was able to reach the peddles with the seat adjusted. However, a con is that the back of the seat is not adjustable so she uses a pillow to help reduce the recline. The bike is sturdy and is at a good height to mount and descend safely. In addition, I purchased the mat to help with safety, stability, and floor protection.

I also purchased the professional bike assembly with my Prime purchase. It was definitely worth the money. The technician called before coming to my parents home and he was masked and wore gloves. He took less than 1 hour to put the product together.

Another con was the product did not come with its electrical cord. It can operate with batteries. I called the product’s customer service number and they sent me the electrical cord free of charge and shipping without any hassle.

This bike is great for the price, it definitely met my needs. I live in a year round warm climate, where I exercise outdoors. I had to take care of family recently in the middle of winter in a state that has snow, ice, and temperatures close to 0 degrees. I didn’t want to leave the house to go find a gym, and this virus shut down gyms a few weeks ago. This was a great solution. The delivery was quick, the box is crazy heavy. I managed to lug it into the house but it was a back breaker. I had the expert assembly which went smoothly. Have 4 D batteries available because the bike is not sold with the AC plug in adapter. With out the adapter and no batteries, your bike won’t turn on. Keep in mind that the assembly specialist is not able to move the bike. You have to move the box to the spot you want your bike. I opened the box once inside the house and carried it piece by piece to where I wanted it. The bike functions well, it was exactly what I needed and the price was perfect for what I got. I did notice the metal heart rate monitor plates come up, the adhesive isn’t the best... but slap a little super glue in there and I haven’t had a problem since. Nothing to complain about, just be aware that you might have to superglue the heart rate plates and that you will need D batteries or order the adapter. I would definitely order this bike again for my island home. It gave me a good sweat and helped me stay in shape while home bound.

I had both knees replaced over the last 6 months. On the advice of my surgeon, I purchased a recumbent bike - a 10 year old Nordic Track from Craig's List. I used it in the months prior to surgery and as part of my rehab since. We have a place in the south we wanted to travel to for the winter months, and I didn't want to drag the old bike down there, and I didn't want to abandon that part of my rehab, so when we got here, I ordered this. It is very similar in operation to the old Nordic Track, so the transition was seamless. I don't know how it would stand up to someone who really wanted to crank on it, but it is perfect for the steady riding that knee replacement rehabilitation requires - and it doesn't cost a fortune. It went together very easily, and it is light enough that I can move it around without too much effort. We are in a condo, so noise is an important factor. This is very quiet. On carpet or with a pad underneath it, your downstairs neighbor will never know that you're riding.

Excellent product! The adjustments for tall or short people are easy to use and actually accommodates my son who is 6’7” and my niece who 5’2”. The only thing they could improve upon is the handlebars! When you pedal, if you have long legs( I have 38” inseam) , and aren’t just in the right position, your knees hit the lowest part of the bars! Please fix this! Otherwise, I have had it for over six months, love it, and nothing has gone wrong! I ride three to six miles a day, and still am using the original batteries I out in the day I bought it. Very efficient. And if the company is reading...a backlight on the panel would be grand! It is hard to ride and see everything when my husband is sleeping! We need a back light!! Great product guys! Fix those two little things, and it would be perfect!
