I sprayed this early in the morning. Nothing ever came out the nest. Works fantastically. These were ground hornets. Later that evening I took a shovel to the spot. It was about the size of a basketball in the ground. The picture is remnants of the nest.
I have been using this product for several years now and have always found that it kills on contact very quickly. The product will also effectively work on spiders and other insects. When the nozzle is depressed the stream is strong and can extend to 10- 12 feet. This is important as when you are spraying a nest (early morning or evening is best due to less activity) you are far enough away to get out of the way if the insects come out of the nest. Obviously, exercise great care when using this or any insecticide for you personal safety. Note that there is a mark on the top of the can, be sure to align the nozzle to that mark and be sure to shake the can so the product inside mixes as it should. Mostly pros, on the con side a) the price of this item has really gone up this year versus last year (as many prices on items has) and b) they now make two sizes. I like the large can but they do make a much smaller can that seem to empty far quicker than I like. It does the job well.
I just got back into pest control and could not believe that we don’t carry it. They just knocked the nest down or spray it with the chemical and I’m like oh no no no no they don’t fly with me ain’t getting stung. Well, yesterday at my own apartment, I got stung by paper wasps because I was walking my dog. I just happen to have my wasp freeze in my house let them settle down went back and hit him with one shot and they were done. This is a must in the state of Texas anyone and everyone have a can of this stuff and I’m glad now that anyone can buy it because when I was doing it back in 2010 you could not buy this I wanna do it yourself pest control you had to have a license to buy it. So if you live in any state which every state does that has bees, and or wasps, and or yellow jackets, please buy a can and keep because all you do is take a few feet step back your sprayer they drop instantly because it literally suffocate them and freeze them per se.
This is the BEST bee/hornet spray! We've reordered several times, it's the only spray that keeps them away. Unfortunately for us, we're on a very sunny side of the street and bees love to build on our property. Once they're sprayed with this spray, they don't go back to that next/area.
Out here in the country hornets are a big problem. Hornets mix water and clay to build their nest on exterior walls. These powerful spray cans sure help reach the nest from a safe distance. I highly recommend you use at night when all the hornets or bees are at the next.
I am allergic to bees and wasps. When I'm outside in the summer I have a can of this not far away. One stream and bye bye bees and wasps. Works fast and keeps them away for awhile. I would recommend this product. Worth the price.
I was using the 14 ounce that I was trying to place from this vender and the cap for activating the spray fell off and could not be retrieved. The vender had to be contacted for a refund because he charged more than it was worth. There is a problem with the activation on this product that I have never enccountered before
5 stars for killing the yellow jackets on the spot. 1 star for dissolving my class 4 roof shingles. Are the yellow jackets gone? Yes. Is my roofer currently replacing a section of shingles? Yes. You'll have to decide for yourself if this a deal breaker for you.
