An Important Addition to my Mobility Options
After several years of reliable service, my old plastic dressing stick (see Picture) finally broke. I had purchased 3 of these for friends and family and immediately bought myself another. I saw the RMS Deluxe 28" Long Dressing Stick and decided to try it. There were a few things that I missed about my old dressing stick, so I modified the RMS Dressing Stick by taking parts from my broken dressing stick and adding them to the RMS Dressing Stick (see picture). The blue tip is better for pulling up socks and pant legs. The blue cushioned grip is easier for old arthritic hands to manipulable.The RMS Dressing Stick brings several things to the table. It is longer than my old stick. The wire end is flat and controls hangers better. The hook end can grab the tabs on athletic shoes. And I have found a whole new set of uses for the RMS Dressing Stick. The hook makes it possible for me to attach the RMS Dressing Stick to my lawn tractor. I can use the RMS Dressing Stick to move downspout extensions, control my drop spreader, and pick up lost caps from the seat of my lawn tractor. Definitely a valuable purchase.
