AWESOME Bow for Beginners to Adults - Accessories Trash
So to start off I love this bow. Got the "weaker" version (30-55 lbs) for my friends son who is 10, that bow will grow with him forever. I was going to actually get that same for for myself for hunting, b/c while not perfect, while on a budget it's good enough, but then I found this version (50-70 lbs) and got this instead. So the only thing bad I saw was "the accessories were trash I threw them all out" which everyone says in their reviews and didn't understand how that was possible, like a sight is a sight you just look through easy enough, but I get it now and I will explain why people say this.1. Drop down arrow rest. IMMEDIATELY (for both bows I got) the string ripped out of the drop down rest. Easy enough, I just knotted it, threaded it through again, and I will burn it in place later. I don't have enough experience with drop down rests to speak anything more beyond that, but that will be your initial problem.2. Sights. So first problem is, the base doesn't sit solid with the sight. I included a picture, which doesn't make sense unless you zoom in, but the base that attaches to the bow IS NOT THE RIGHT SIZE for the sight itself is my best guess. Tight or not, it doesn't fit, and the sight with a slight nudge adjusts itself up and down (TILTING, not sliding). Additionally as I am trying to zero in the sights, they are sliding by themselves, and now after a few adjustments the screw head is stripping slowly. I will have to replace the entire thing it is useless.3. Comes with two arrows, which you will need to have extras on hand and replace those shortly after using. Pulling mine out after the first shit they bent (I did have them wedged into a target but still... First time)4. The release aid trigger, idk I don't have any complaints so far, but again just sighting in. It can be adjusted for finger length which is great, not the most comfortable, but you always get what you pay for.Regardless with all of that, AND the cost of the bow, I would recommend this to most people. Again, if the sight can just get sighted in and never move, it works fine, b/c you just look down it and it works.Oh one final thing, ACCURACY (as much as can be expected from a bow at this price point) is AMAZING. I'm scraping the edge of arrows hitting them together quite often during shooting, and I'm brand new to archery.Get this for adults, or get the smaller (30-55lb) one for kids or smaller adults.

I got this bow to practice with my granddaughter, who joined an archery team in school. I didn't want to spend a lot just for a bow, in case it was just this was just a fad for her. I didn't want to spend the cash it costs for one of those Genesis rigs they use at school for competition cause it is only about 20lb draw. One of my son-in-laws has a $2K+ Matthews bow, I wasn't about to go that route, either. He is the most knowledgeable family member I have, and is an avid Bow Hunter. I respect his opinion, so, I had him check out this bow's specs, and he said it would fulfill the purpose I had in mind. It turns out my granddaughter absolutely loves archery. So, I've been practicing at home, and it is a bonding thing we do together when we visit. I am really satisfied with this bow. It is one of the few inexpensive compound bows I found that can be set to 31" draw length. I have gorilla arms, according to my kids. I have mounted a sight, a whisker biscuit, quiver, stabilizer, and a wrist sling on it, it has normal sized attaching points, so you can get anything you want and it will fit. I have it turned down to 55lbs for now (you shouldn't go lower per the instructions), as I don't want to reach to the moon when I practice. I found that the full strength, if I miss the target, a bolt (arrow) will go through a fence board and 1/4" plywood with practice tips, and then I have to search the field behind the house for a good 15 to 20 minutes looking for the bolt. Get you some good bolts, I went to an archery center near my house and the owner made me up some Victory Mambas with 350 spine and 100 grain tips for my excessively long arms. He said they will withstand the power of the full 70lbs and then some when I turn it up. This bow is powerful! Don't try cheap arrows, they may cause injury. The first add-on I recommend is the sling, it helps a lot with carrying it 1 handed, and don't forget to wax the string before and after you shoot. Next is a release and a D-loop. I made one out of an old window blind string, got that idea from the Internet. it works great. As far as stabilizers go, I don't know if they really help or not... the whisker biscuit and the sight, those are good for me. To sum it up. I think this is a good inexpensive bow that can do more than just shoot a bolt down range. It operates just fine and I haven't had any problem with it, Money well spent, I would recommend it to a friend or family member who wants to have something to target practice with and possibly hunt with.
