Product Description

Incredibly lightweight considering its generous head size, the Tour Slam Lite is all about improving power and consistency for recreational players. Its 113-square-inch head provides a large sweet spot, not only boosting power, but also adding several degrees of forgiveness on off-centered hits. Another source of added power comes from the Power Bridge, which provides longer mainstrings for greater rebound speed and liveliness upon contact.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Racket for Beginners but the Handle Grip is a Little Flimsy
Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2019
I bought two of these rackets for me and my girlfriend to start playing tennis as beginners. They're very lightweight and they have a slightly bigger racket surface area than other "standard" rackets which makes it easier to hit the ball. It's not much bigger than the rackets you see other people using on the tennis courts we play at so we didn't stand out as beginners from our rackets alone...(I think our level of play is what gave us away). Anyway, they also fit very nicely in my JanSport backpack which make them very easy to carry around if you didn't already have or want to buy a tennis racket-specific carrying bag. My only complaint is that the handle grips began to deteriorate after only a few outings to the tennis courts (see attached pictures). It's not terrible but I don't see the handle grips on these rackets withstanding consistent use. I've been told that you can buy grip tape separately to wrap around the racket's handle to fix the problem which we may do if the condition continues to worsen.

Overall, I definitely recommend these rackets for beginner players. Just know that the racket may break down on you after a short period of time and that you may need to buy grip tape separately as a fix. Who know's though? By the time the handle grip tears apart you may already be ready to move on to the Roger Federer-branded pro tennis racket!

Happy playing!
