I made a mistake and bought two of these. I gave the second to my mom. She was so excited. I finally opened mine. It is really easy to put together and to use. I live in an old dusty house and my baseboards are the most difficult to clean. This did a great job - even in the corners. I did spray some cleaner on the baseboards and on the cleaning pad. The only downside is that the cleaning head loosened if I pushed too hard. I may just need to get the hang of it. Definitely easier than getting on the floor with a bucket and sponge.

Seriously? This is the best product I have ever bought for my home. We have an older rescue dog that loves to mark baseboards when left alone. The Baseboard Buddy wakes quick work of the messes and it so easy to clean with the removable pad.

If I could have tested this product before buying I would not have purchased. It doesn’t do a great job and cleaning the base boards like advertised. It doesn’t bend at the bottom so it’s hard to maneuver to me. It also keeps coming detached from the bottom while using. Not my favorite! May return.

Unfortunately I was not shipped two middle pieces that both had one side with holes and the other with pegs to fit into place with each other piece and complete the unit for use. One of the middle pieces had holes on both sides. My husband said he could rig it up with a screw and nut in order to use the ‘Buddy’ without it coming apart. So mine will not be able to be broken down easily for compact storage per the description provided.

This gizmo does save one from bending to clean the baseboards. I do have a complaint though. The cleaning pad is really difficult to remove from the unit as the Velcro is incredibly strong which makes it difficult for arthritic hands. Secondly, even though I squeezed the water out of the pad before attaching it to the pole, I found that, when applying pressure to the baseboards to clean them, water dripped out of the pad necessitating having to get down to wipe up the wet. The cleaning pad is made out of some unusual fabric and it does not want to hold the water you put on it.

No more bending over to clean the baseboards or drag a chair around to clean the top of the doors.Comes with 2 removable cloths which are easy to clean, really good velour stick on, can use the pads either dry or wet. Wipes all the dust off what more could u have on your baseboards! Some of the reviews say won’t scrub clean, it’s a mop of course it won’t, if u have scuff marks or stains then of course it won’t come off with a mop, u need to scrub with a magic eraser and some elbow grease.
