Not only do I have trouble pushing this stroller but my husband who is bigger than I am has trouble as well.
Long story short, we are on our third set of wheels as Britax is on their 3rd round of redesigns to the front wheels to see if they can fix the issue. Apparently its a known issue that the wheels/overall design doesnt function very well.
The stroller locks up, won't turn and isn't responsive at all. We keep bumping into everything.
The design is fantastic (large cargo, easy to adjust, nice seat, etc) but the stroller doesnt function like a stroller should. Would definitely recommend buying something else.
Very dissapointed because it seems like such a basic function (maneuverability) that should have been an non-issue for a stroller company.
Looks nice, but doesnt stroll.
Removing the front wheels and lubricating the posts and mating surfaces with some silicone grease fixed the problem and made a night and day difference to maneuverability.
Hope that helps if any others have the same problem.
Other than that it works great and the ability to switch back and forth from the car seat to the stroller, and the ability to change the direction baby faces are really nice features.
After reading and comparing just about every single Amazon review for the (older model) Britax B-Ready, UppaBaby Vista, BJ City Select, Britax B Agile Double, City Mini Double, BOB Double, and Phil & Ted's... the 2017 Britax B Ready stroller came closest to "THE perfect double stroller" for my needs.
A couple years ago, I did try out for a few months a Britax B-Ready in Navy (not sure which older year model that was) and I need to state here that the 2017 model is WITHOUT A DOUBT a major improvement.
THE ONLY THING that I was disappointed with and is the reason for my "4 instead of 5 stars" is that the stroller does NOT STAND FOLDED WITH the second seat. I got all excited when I saw the stock photos on the internet show how, as a single stroller, it stands folded, and the Britax stock videos show the double stroller folding WITH the second seat attached... But FAILED to finish saying somewhere that just because it folds with the second seat, doesn't mean it STANDS with it too... See what I mean by "came closest to THE perfect stroller."? Cuz lets face it, with the thousands that are out there to choose from, "THE perfect stroller" just doesn't exist.
Frustrating and hilarious at the same time...
***EDITED TO NOTE***
- In my research of the double strollers listed above, if it DID have descent/good storage, you made up for it in driving a MONSTER LONG or WIDE stroller (depending on whether you picked an in-line or side-by-side). I chose to remedy this issue by having purses/diaper bags that are backpack style and that solved this problem for me.
- In reading almost ALL Amazon reviews for these strollers, the flaw(s) that broke the camel's back for me are:
• UppaBaby Vista- overpriced bcuz of that darn bassinet (Had to repeat to myself over and over: "I will not pay $1000 for a stroller!") Too many extra adapter pieces to have "on hand" to go from one seater to two; Some mom in her review said IN REALITY only 1-2 configurations are possible with a toddler and infant; Restricted car seat compatibility; The Vista may win the "largest storage basket" award, but that means the YOUNGER CHILD OR INFANT MUST be placed in the second seat located FURTHEST away from mom at the front of the long train of a stroller that it is (due to the fact that ONLY the top seat has the weight capacity to hold the heavier toddler) And ULTIMATELY, I didn't feel safe knowing that the youngest child/infant is sitting at the FRONT of the "train" (almost even in front of the wheels! Think, crash collision!- God forbid) and that I don't have quick access to my him since he's located furthest away from me.
• City Select- monster size, weight AND length; front wheel(s) wobble too much; the seats are poor quality and tear easily after about 1 year of use
• B-Agile Double- the reclining mechanism is a nightmare
• City Mini Double- tipping hazard when seats are reclined
• BOB Double- anyone who owns one will tell you it's a monster sized stroller and I'm a small, 5'3" Mama. Wouldn't work.
• Phil and Ted's- I LOVED its compact size but the kids pay for it by having cramped, uncomfortable room to sit (and mind you, my kids are UNDERWEIGHT); Also overpriced; horrible canopy coverage; many ppl complained about broken parts and easily popped tires when they tried to fill them back up with air.
PROS OF 2017 BRITAX B-READY:
- Yes, 2nd seat takes up your storage space but I feel a lot SAFER knowing that my younger child is somewhat more protected in between my toddler and me (Unlike the Vista- which is a double stroller that also has one "heavier" and one "lighter" child seat; City Select has the perk of having "equal" weight capacity seats but you make up for it in KILLER LENGTH AND WEIGHT).
- Canopy coverage (LOVE the non velcro!!!! Way better design than UB Vista canopy in my opinion; not a fan of that random aluminum silver color/fabric)
- Quality of frame, seats, and fabric (not any bigger than UB Vista's seats; we already discussed City Selects seats ;)
- Expected/Light-as-its-gonna-get weight for a sturdy, non-tipping, in-line double stroller compared to City Select and UB Vista.
- Not as long and train-like as CS and UB.
- Lowest price compared to CS and UB.
- Folds with second seat (unlike CS and UB; just remember that it won't stand with it; only without 2nd seat).
- Doesn't cost extra money to have the all black frame (like UB does :-P )
CONCLUSION:
Like I said, I just received this, but I'm hoping to pass on what I found through my research and trial-and-error purchases. I hope I have done most of the work for you so you don't have to waste as much time, energy, and money as I have. Haha! ;) If I find new CONS for this stroller as I use it, I'll be back for another edit. Good luck to you...

Just wish they had a newer model! But regardless. Love the strength of the wheels, giving it all terrain without being too bulky. Love the diversity of car seat or seat adaptation.
The handle bar can be adjusted, which is perfect for those too tall/short for other stroller handles.
My last one lasted years, hoping this new one I got will do the same.
Also arrived a day early!
Update: after using this as a double since my newborn was born I am so disappointed in this stroller. It is almost impossible to steer and is so wobbly that I'm afraid to use it. I'm not sure if mine is faulty or this is just a common problem and I'm out of luck. I'm looking for a new double stroller but am struggling to find one that suits our needs. I really wanted to love this one so bad. Anyone in my family that has used it as a double has made a comment about how crappy the steering is and how wobbly it is. I love the features it has, my only problem is the steering, wheels locking, and wobbliness which are really the most important things in a stroller.
