    I got these for my 2 year old after he kept wanting to play with a set of babushka dolls at my mom’s when we went to visit. They were off limits to me growing up & sat on a high up shelf, but my mom let the grand baby play with them 😂 After the 2nd visit & him playing with them nonstop, I ordered him this set. He loves them! He plays with them over & over. We have had them for a couple weeks now & he plays with them daily. They are nicely made & made a great gift for him! I am pleased with the quality as well as the low price.

    These nesting dolls are sturdy and well crafted, overall. The one flaw I found seemed to be a common complaint in other reviews, the pieces don't close up and if you do manage to squeeze them closed, it's a struggle to open them up again. I found a quick fix for this - gently sand around the inside lip of the bottom pieces with a Dremel. I noticed that they were a bit rounded on this section, so when you try to put the top pieces on, it is just too tight. Lightly sanding it down totally corrected the issue. Just a warning, be careful not to sand it too much or the pieces will be too loose and not hold together.

    Really disappointed with this product. Bought it as a Christmas present for my grandson, mistake on my part for not opening it up right away after it was delivered. Unfortunately it was too late to return, as Christmas is just a couple days away. Not worth the whole hassle. Thank goodness it was affordable, the only really plus to this item.     My one year old loves these. We took out the smallest one, the bird, and will put it back when it's not a choking risk any more. My one year old just loves popping them open and closed, open and closed, and learning the names for the animals. We have had them for 3 months now, dropped them on the floor lots of times, and they haven't broken. The one negative to these, as other reviewers mentioned, is that it's hard to pry the lion open the first time--basically impossible to do it without damaging it a little bit. We used a razor blade and you can see tiny little razor blade cuts around the edge now. Still worth the purchase though.
