I really liked it. I read other not good reviews and the people who wrote them just needed to read the instructions. I also really like the product "Just crack an egg" , because the omelette ingredents are all prepared for you, I just added an egg, mixed it up, poured in to the Dash Omelette Maker and it worked well. Cleanup is a breeze, just wipe with a paper towel (if you sprayed it as the instructions stated.) Wait until it cools and put away.

OK. So I have learned that you can in fact turn Eggs into projectile objects of death... My first try with the Dash Omelette maker was to add 5 ounces of Egg Beaters, 1 ounce of cheese and 1 ounce of onions... Oh, and I didn't add any oil or non-stick spray.... So, a bit of a mess. That was my bad. It came shooting out the side and was a bit of pain to clean... That. was operator error and clearly against the well documented instructions...

My second attempt was...more educated. I added 3 ounces of Egg Beater, and two mixed ounces of onions, cheese and peppers. I sprayed the surface and cooked up it up in 5 minutes. It was yummy. No mess when I cooked this one up, and it cleaned up very easy. If you are looking for an easy and repeatable way to make omelets, this is a winner!

Takes a couple of times using to figure out how much egg to add and how to use. I found that if you warm your other ingredients (sausage/onion/peppers/ham) up in the bottom first (or another pan) and add the scramble egg mixture until it fills one side, then close and cook for 100 seconds, flip over 180 and cook for another 100 seconds (i just count and watch the green and red lights on the unit), the eggs came out fine. I add a splash of milk to my 2 scramble eggs and with other ingredients it takes about half the egg mixture per omelette (so I always make two). The omelette rises perfectly if cooked long enough on each side. I don’t use cheese, if you do, even less egg would be required. Knowing what I know now, I would buy a double unit if I was fixing for more than myself. It is impressive that this unit’s high heat makes the egg foam, then rise making a great tasting treat.

I would have liked the option to tell Amazon about the broken piece, but it only let me do that if I wanted to return it. With social distancing, I am not taking it to the return center. I have pictures to support this, but have no clue on how or where to submit them.

will only work to prepare food for ONE very small eater -- I used two large eggs and a small piece of swiss cheese and it could not handle that quantity of food -- it spit out a lot of it and made a mess -- also -- you have to flip it over after a couple of miniutes -- unlike other electric omelet makers that cook both sides at the same time -- it was easy to clean up (after I cleaned up the mess it made on my counter) -- would return it but I threw out the box -- bottom line: good if you are cooking for ONE person who eats one egg omelets
still give this thing one star for omelet making -- HOWEVER -- IT IS AN AWESOME DEVICE FOR MAKING EGGS OVER EASY -- perfect for (size large) eggs over easy -- two minutes on one side -- flip for another minute (total three minutes)
