Works like a charm
Within 30 days of hanging this on my kitchen wall I had a grease fire on the stove. I had flames about 2 feet high covering two burners, one which was red hot. The fire had made it's way underneath the burners so it didn't extinguish right away. There was air in there so i couldn't starve it if oxygen. But the flames went from about 3 cubic feet to almost zero instantly. The blanket really stopped the fire from spreading and allowed me to remove the pan with the grease and get control of the emergency. The blanket is charred but it has zero damage and I'll load it back into the holder to use again someday. For 10 bucks this is an absolute must. Just get one and hang it on your wall. Do It.
